Changing From Flats To Heels At The Office.

A question for the girls, I have noticed on my way to work reciently that some women are wearing flats to work but when they are at work they change into approximate 4 inch heels (higher with platforms). Can I put this, why?

Probably because they are trying to increase their wearing time in heels at work comfortably in a cheap pair of heels.

Shafted, the boots that is! View my gallery here http://www.hhplace.o...afteds-gallery/ or view my heeling thread here http://www.hhplace.org/topic/3850-new-pair-of-boots-starts-me-serious-street-heeling/ - Pm me if you want fashion advice or just need someone to talk to.

Many reasons... many wear heels at work that they cannot walk long distances in - at work, most people sit 85% of the time at their desk.

Second, especially if it's getting dark earlier during fall/winter-time, women prefer shoes they can RUN in if they get attacked. If you have tried to run for your life in 4 inch heels, that's quite understandable (not funny though).

I'm a guy and I've developed a preference for wearing flats when I'm walking to places and changing into heels when I get there. For me it's about being comfortable and kind to my feet, and also looking after my heels, when I'm walking long distances, so I can enjoy them more when I am wearing them. I agree there's sometimes the personal safety issue too.

If you like it, wear it.

I'm just happy they bother to change into heels - so many today just seem to stay in their trainers (which are fugly).  I know it has to deal with convience of comfort.  But why back in the "good days" did so many ladies live in heels all the time?

Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.

I think it is mostly because of the long walk in heels So it can increase heel time at work One other thing they may not want to mess up or wear out expensive shoes

If I had an office job, then it would be heels 24/7. I can't physically wear flat of any sort, they hurt my feet. But they would be all-day comfortable heels like 4-5" heel with a tiny bit of platform.
