mygirliesheels Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 One of the pairs of heels that she wears, not normally out of the house but were going to give it a go sometime, hope you like, theres more to come.
mygirliesheels Posted January 7, 2004 Author Posted January 7, 2004 heres another pair she wears. soemwhere i have photos of them actually being worn, will have to try and find them or take some new ones.
mygirliesheels Posted January 7, 2004 Author Posted January 7, 2004 These are one of my favourite pairs, simplicity is the name of the game, she has worn these to work of a few occasions when there has been something special going on, with some seamed stockings, if anything else wont get my attention, these will.
Firefox Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 I definitely prefer the last ones. The first are quite dangerous to wear outside as a high platform is very unstabel if you step on a small pebble for example.
TXT-1 Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 actually Firefox, they are more stable then they look, you just have treat the platforms an an extention of your feet you'll be fine I've worn mine out side heaps (in the back yard - it's paved)and I've never twisted an ankle although, I came close once see "trippin'" here in the picture forum. haven't came close to twisting my ankle since! later, TXT-1
JayZee Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 The last ones are GREAT - just missing the feet/legs and the stockings Rgds JayZee "We don't stop playing because we get older - we get older because we stop playing" (with high heels - JayZee)
mygirliesheels Posted January 7, 2004 Author Posted January 7, 2004 These were bought as a christmas present, very high, very sharp and pointed heel and very difficult for walking in! Thinking of selling them so if interested let me know, they are a UK7, as is the rest of the shoes on show These too a present, the heel makes them a little different from the rest of these style of boots being worn right now These are a favourite of mine, suggests quiet sophistication to me, these she wore to my works christmas dinner, caused quite a few heads to turn. These white pumps go great with some tan stockings, dont know if its just me but i think they sometimes look better without the ankle straps...? Last 'shoe' present bought this year from Mr.Shoes in Norwich, UK Think they are quite nice and the delicate strap around the heel / ankle goes well. These ones that get worn to work mostly, i think the chunky high heel is just great ! Last picture for now, a pair of boots, again mostly worn to work at the moment ! hope you like them, there will be more to come, including photos of them being worn.
Firefox Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Great photos of a variety of styles. I think oe collections are very interetsing, and if you have some of the m being worn, that would be cool too.
cinthy Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 I have the red metal heel pumps with anklestrap as well. They are indeed very very high, and it took me a long time before i mastered them without having my knees bend ridiculously. But practice makes perfect.
Francis Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 I have a pair but without the strap Still can't straighten my legs in them, although I can walk a few yards before I have to grab something size 7 would be a bit tight on my feet, else I would have found a way to have them
JayZee Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 I'm mainly "into" the black pumps, but also the X-mas mules, no wonder they made some heads turn - would have made my head spin!! What heel hight are they - 5"? JayZee "We don't stop playing because we get older - we get older because we stop playing" (with high heels - JayZee)
mygirliesheels Posted January 8, 2004 Author Posted January 8, 2004 yep, the plain black pumps are a 5" heel, don't know about you but they really do sometimes beat anything else for looks
chris100575 Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 She's got some great shoes there. I think the mules are my favourites, but the classic black courts are always good! I agree with you about the ankle straps, IMO court shoes look better without them, plus I find them uncomfortable. My black patent courts orginally had ankle straps, but I found that because of where they're attached they pulled uncomfortably tight as I walked unless I had them very loose. I ended up removing them. Chris
Alex Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 I like the black courts too, but I'm loving the black mules. Reminds me of Peg Bundy from Married with Children I wish I was a size 10
shyguy Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Reminds me of Peg Bundy from Married with Children Yeah Alex, I was going to say Debbie Harry in the Blondie days, I loved watching her vids with her in those kind of Mules, but when I read your post I had watched Married With Children a coupla days ago and admired the shoes Peg wears, and you hit it on the head there. I love those black mules. He was so narrow minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Brown's Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly
cinthy Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 my boyfriend removed the leather anklestrap (i have the same red pumps) and replaced them by a thin metal chain and tiny padlock... This contributed in me being able to walk in them now...
bloodnose Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 Could you post some more pictures of the chunky heels please. I have a particular liking for that style of shoes, and you don't see so many pics of them these days
loveheel Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 The mules are my favorite. Very classy. Where did you get buy them ?
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 The mules came from the USA, buy them, while im there on business and then bring them home for her, the chunky heel shoes i have plenty of pcitures of them so will post as soon as i can.
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 another pic of the patent mules for those that mentioned they liked them.. some more everyday shoes she wears, bought for £1 from shoe factory shop in Northampton another pair bought for £1 interesting pair of mules worn to work in the summer and to come very soon, some pics of the shoes seen above being worn, as some of you asked......
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 for those of you who like me appreciates the simple, subtle plain black 5" heel pump
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 Since sold on, nevertheless were nice indeed... The gloss tan stockings certainly look good in this picture...
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 I just love it when she wears these, only had them since christmas so not worn much yet, she doesnt want to keep them too high she says, any buyers...?
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 These she had a while ago, at least a year, also a bit tricky to walk in, no real support anywhere, anyway hope you like the pics...
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 Thats the lot for the time being, hope that you like them and if you want we will do another photo seesion and get some more pics online for you....let me know!
Daz30 Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 Yes my girlfriend is eyeing the red heels Daz30
nhoj62 Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 mygirliesheels wot size are the red pumps that she says are too high?, an how can she say they are too high , the higher the better i think later nhoj62 the higher the boot, the higher the heel, the better the feeling!
mygirliesheels Posted January 12, 2004 Author Posted January 12, 2004 the red spiked heels are a US9 / UK7 bought just before christmas, i believe the heel height is 6", way higher than anything she has tried without a platform, thats why she is thinking of selling them
