Francis, Heelfan, and I just had an enjoyable trip to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Milton Keynes this week and we went in Calv's Historic 1961 coach (or at least Francis and I did, we met HF there). Anyway, as I understand it Calv's coach is for hire at reasonable rates so if we got a group of 15 or more of us together, we could hire the bus and go somewhere exciting within reasonable reach of Coalville (Leicester) where the bus is garaged. I'm thinking in terms of Alton towers, the Seaside, Nottingham, Country houses, pubs and shopping all subject to distance and practicality. The Coach cruises at 50mph on the flat so we can't go too far but the journey is part of the charm, especially if we choose our itnerary carefully. Post your thoughts and suggestions here!
