Here's an idea for a day out for UK people. Francis, Heelfan, and I just had an enjoyable trip to the Rocky Horror Picture Show in Milton Keynes this week and we went in Calv's Historic 1961 coach (or at least Francis and I did, we met HF there). Anyway, as I understand it Calv's coach is for hire at reasonable rates so if we got a group of 15 or more of us together, we could hire the bus and go somewhere exciting within reasonable reach of Coalville (Leicester) where the bus is garaged. I'm thinking in terms of Alton towers, the Seaside, Nottingham, Country houses, pubs and shopping all subject to distance and practicality. The Coach cruises at 50mph on the flat so we can't go too far but the journey is part of the charm, especially if we choose our itnerary carefully. Post your thoughts and suggestions here!

and that's with everyone peddling as fast as they can.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Firefox's information leads us to deduce that Calv's bus is a ROLLS CANARDLY. This is because it rolls down the hills and canardly get up them (tee-hee!). Cheerfully yours, Heelfan

Onwards and upwards!

keep posted on further details. Alton towers not such a super idea as my system is very defensive at the thought of most of the stuff there. get sick too easily. however for the other suggestions, i will definatley consider daz

Alton Towers may be a bit far, plus it's not a very good place to wear heels due to walkng etc, although I have done so there.

..and hanging around standing in long queues in stils ~ ouch!

Nottingham/Derby area pubcrawl/shopcrawl may be an idea. We could catch a show in the evening or finish up at gardens/event/pub that is open till late.
