High Surprise Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I agree with you Laurie. Those boots are kind of cute aren't they? I like the bows too.
dimpantyhose Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I really like those metal heels boots, but I really prefer the high heels version.
High Surprise Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I simply adore this style. I WANT SOME!!! NOW!!!!
Tech Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 The shame about those kind of heels i think is that the heels, and the boot look like 2 totally seperate things, theres no smooth line, almost makes the shoe or boot look deformed, with that metal shaft glued under it... The metal tip stilettoes look much sexier, and something i would prefer, as you still have the sexy metal spike, but its built into the heel, not like something that was an afterthough.... Emma Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Hi, I understand everyone point of view regarding this type of heel, my feeling, "I NEEED THEM". reasons the full point part of the shoe/boot then with the same regarding the heel, slim & pointed. Prefer the ones with heel closer into the back, look great & sexy. Just lets find someone who can either sell them or make them. Maybe Anna should post a picture of the shoe with them all in the window?
High Surprise Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 I had some time yesterday and visited several shops in London looking for shoes with the metal heel (with this design). Could not find anything like it. HELP!
jim Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 WOW...! Never seen any thing quite like that ... Absolutley stunning! just love them..oh my, I'm starting to feel faint I'm with you High Suprise,I want a pair of those shoes and a pair of those boots....!! HELP jim
High Surprise Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 Still can't find any.... Looked in Selfridges in Oxford Street, London on Sunday. The shoe department (which is BIG!) had nothing like it.
Ionic Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Did a bit more web hunting on Gianmarco Lorenzi and there isn't much. Notable are the Russian, Ukranian and Belorus sites that rank high in the search listing. Only two styles are offered on this page http://www.raffaello-network.com/raffties/list_products.php?rangeid=344&prodrange=Gianmarco%20Lorenzi%20Shoes And this eBay store has many more but no metal heels http://stores.ebay.com/milanfashion /I /I
Emma Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Hi all, still looking, going mad. One link worth looking at is the following some really nice designs www.gianmarcoleorenzi.com Emma
stylettos Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Here's another image I think everybody will like. These are Who's by Pollini, from a collection two years old more or less.
High Surprise Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Similar to one of my pairs of boots (apart from the wonderful metal heel). I'm really falling in love with metal heels here!
J-Nation Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 is it just the way the model is posed, or does she only have one leg? Emma
Heelfan Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Hello Emma! Well spotted! You have a gift for seeing further into these postings than the rest of us. Not for the first time you've caused us to look at things from your perspective of heightened perception. By the way, are you still "On" for the Birmingham Heel-Meet on 29th November? The other Emma is coming too! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
J-Nation Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 unfortunately, I'm probably not - I'm actually going to Brum a couple of days before for a trip round the MG Rover factory(!) so two journeys so close together might not be do-able. Emma
Ionic Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 still looking, going mad. One link worth looking at is the following some really nice designs www.gianmarcoleorenzi.com Emma You need to get the spelling right... www.gianmarcolorenzi.com And it gives showroom addresses in both Paris and Milan, so they are getting closer. There was a tiny thing in Peter Jones dept. store in Sloane Square, Chelsea today in some fab boots (not metal heels); I really wanted to go up and ask her if they were Gianmarco Lorenzis.... But I was doubly numb on both sides from dental anaestetic and not quite on form /I /I
gimmel Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 Hi girls & boys, i found similar pair on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2873755148&category=45327
High Surprise Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 I want I want I want!!!! I cannot find this style anywhere. Driving me mad!
HeelTV Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 I found this nice pair of boots in an buffalo shop in Munich
High Surprise Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Thanks for that HeelTV. Not my style at all - too fancy but I hope you enjoy them.
stellah Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 Check out model BO - 9331 - charol negro from Fuss Schuhe: _______________ HH forever!
High Surprise Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Not sure of I would wear those outside but quite cool I guess...
Ionic Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 I think, H-S, you are going to have to resign yourself to no Gianmarco Lorenzi's in the UK unless they have their own shop somewhere in Knightsbridge or South Moulton Street or another shop there has directly sourced them as a special line..... /I /I
stylettos Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Also a Gianmarco Lorenzi shop probably wouldn't solve the problem. There are many shops in Roma selling Lorenzi. They have the models currently depicted on their web site, but not those boots or pumps with metal heels.
Ionic Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 must be a special design for those heel-loving Russians and Ukranians then.... ....or market testing!! /I /I
007 Posted December 15, 2003 Posted December 15, 2003 I know...I know they're not the same, but thought there might be some interest out there. Anyone wanting copies (minus the metal heels and exaggerated point) of these: http://www.gianmarcolorenzi.com/lorenzi.asp?id=5 ...then there's a similar pair in Ravel (UK) called 'Cloud' for £50. I'm sure someone's realised GL's are wonderful and copied their style.
Majo Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 At BB's High Heel site there is a gallery of Linda Schuhsalon who modeled for Lorenzi's site some years ago. IMO those boots, mules and pumps are state of the art. At the top of my buying list. link is http://www.fashion-heels.de/gallery14_linda.html Majo
