LiveAndLearn
Hello everyone! Im sorry if this has already been a topic, but i've been browsing through and while I find the odd comment here-and-there about where you buy your shoes, I was wondering where you actually buy your shoes ESPECIALLY if you're a larger foot like me! Im a size 12 in UK Mens, roughly 45 in Euro, but my feet are extremely wide and not so much long, so finding shoes that fit in mens is hard enough. I love heels as im sure all of you do too, thats why we're here, and I have a real problem with finding fashionable, trendy heels that look nice and go upto a size 12. I've never owned or tried on a pair of heels simply for the reason that they never fit, and when trying to do it in a shop the whole "looks" issue begins. What would you reccomend, or moreover where would you reccomend to shop for the larger footed man?! Tacchi Alti
That pretty well rules out high street shops, then. :-( However, there are plenty available in Internet stores and on Ebay, and depending on where you live you could visit a 'fetish' shop which might stock large sizes. A good place to start is Banana Shoes www.bananashoes.co.uk but there will be plenty of others. I'd advise you to ring these stores to explain your requirements. Don't be shy, lots of their customers are men, which is why they stock the larger sizes in the first place. You don't say what your budget is, but expect to pay £40 upwards. Thanks for that reccomendation, do you shop there or have anyone who has shopped there? Im always wary of online shops that don't look 'professional' enough when putting in my card details, being a web degree student and all. I expect to pay £40 and upwards, but it's irritating that 90% of the shops i'll have to buy these in are fetishes shops, because honestly im not looking for thigh high boots with metal hanging off of them, . But there are a few okay ones in there. What Other People Think Of Me, Ain't None Of My Buisness ~ RuPaul
Gudulitooo
I think the best way is to find list of stores that propose large size shoes. Just found this one as an example : http://www.northernconcord.org.uk/shoes.htm I knew of another that also labeled the stores that ship internationaly, but can't retrieve it right now. LiveAndLearn
Im reviving this again, for the simple reason that i've been browsing the web and I have yet to find a shop that caters to my foot that isn't: A. In the USA / USA sizings B. Aren't absolutly horrid styles! I've found that if you're around a size 12 UK Mens in heels... (roughly the same for womens, although the shoes I bought I could have probably gone in an 11, because the back has streched out making them impossible to walk in! Still need to find some insoles! But I digress) ... The only option you have for shoes are Hooker thigh-high boots, or 2 inch kitten heels! None of those really appeal to me. I like stilleto heel'd pumps and ankle boots. Now if anyone knows of any shops, in the UK, that cater to this kind of thing then let me know! If that be online, or in a city! I've heard that there are a few shops in the center of London, but I can't be sure! P.S -Edit- If anyone could help me find some black patent leather / leather 4-5inch ankel boots that would be great. Im looking for two pairs IDEALLY. I want one pair that is 5 inches, ideally leather but i can work with patent, slip-on (zip is fine, NO LACES) black boot, and a 3-4 inch black boot I can hide under my jeans, to get me started for public heeling. ilikekicks
Im looking for size 14 in womens ( US ) then. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PLEASER-Womens-Sexy-Stripper-Platform-High-Heel-Stilettos-Corset-Style-Shoes-/290615376452?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item89604db81b#ht_5100wt_897 These go up to a size 16!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pleaser-Sexy-Pumps-Domina-420-423-431-434-442-456-460-/320737939691?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item76c092d997#ht_3161wt_897 This might sound rude though its not meant to be rude at all.. For a size that big, your not really going to have much of a selection and what is out there is going to be the lower-tiered items like Pleaser or Elle . at9
If they run large you may just get away with UK11 from http://www.bigshoeboutique.co.uk/ One pair of UK9 I have from them is definitely a bit generous. Evans http://www.evans.co.uk/ have a range of wide and extra wide shoes with a few styles up to UK11 and lots of UK10. I have heard comments that their shoes run large so again you may just be in luck.

HighCurious
I have found some GORGEOUS shoes on there, can anyone vouch that they are reputible? I've bought from BSB with success, they were delivered very quickly. They are a part of Barratts, so I'd expect good after sales service, but I haven't needed to use it myself. I'm a UK 11 and the pair of 11s I bought are slightly large, maybe half a size or so. However, there are a lot of comments on the site about shoes coming small, especially the Saints of Fashion range. The ones I bought are from the Sherbert range. Well these are the ones I bought: http://www.bigshoeboutique.co.uk/en/platform-shoe-boots-241561 In an 11. I am a 12 but I figured I could try them on, and if they dont fit i'll just return them or whatever. They look as if they'll be small. But I have to try huh? Im optimistic at the moment. I plan to strech them out if they dont fit anyway. What Other People Think Of Me, Ain't None Of My Buisness ~ RuPaul

barney15c
won't be much use to you liveandlearn (as zappos dont ship overseas) but for our US based extra large footed members, they may be interested in these from Zappos , these models are in a US14,15 and 16!! though because they are sale shoes not all models are in all sizes. So you don't have to have just fetishy shoes if you are a very large size. http://www.zappos.com/womens-shoes~1i7#!/women-heels/CK_XARC41wF6BNQE1ASCAQSwGK8YqgECBQbAAQHiAgUBGA8CFQ.zso?s=goliveRecentSalesStyle/desc/ In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!! The ones I got are these: http://www.bigshoeboutique.co.uk/en/sherbert-block-heel-ankle-boots-225576 I just loved the block heel when I first saw them and fell in lust! They also do a knee-length version that I'm thinking quite hard about about. I hope yours fit you. HighCurious
LiveAndLearn
Just recived my shoes from big shoe boutique. Unfotunatly, the sizeis more like a 9 than an 11. Dosn't fit well, my toes manage to get in it, but my heel does not. What Other People Think Of Me, Ain't None Of My Buisness ~ RuPaul
