mikeheel Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 I bought these beautiful purple shoes in Cardiff last weekend and wore them to the opera in the evening. They were in a sale in Debenhams £25. I also bought the shoe-boots and wore them all day walking the shops, not such a bargain £85 / Curt Geiger and all man made, but very comfortable. I do not like large platforms but they are the fashion. For the evening I wore skinny black jeans (H&M) sheer hold-ups, a linen shirt and a purple scarf. There is a picture of me in the foyer looking at a programme. My girlfriend took the shot and it is a bit blurred. You won't get me wearing flat shoes...I really can't do it. I like both pair, and like you, I am really not overly fond of the boots with the platforms. But, as you say, that's the style. Good posting. Thanks. You do look stylish. (Although quite blurred, the two women in the background look like their having a nice long discussion about your appearance. I too like to wear a fedora hat when I am out-and-about in public in high heels. It's a nice touch! Were there any unusual reations to you and your outfit, especially the high heels?
