Dr. Shoe Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Sounds like a recruitment for a escort agency to me... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
roniheels Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I wonder if any men will try to apply nicely dressed and wearing high heels who might claim discrimination?
cheyenne Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I wonder if any men will try to apply nicely dressed and wearing high heels who might claim discrimination? You mean like the guy a few years ago that sued Hooters for discrimination when they wouldn't hire him as a server. The company said he couldn't fit the uniform correctly.
tightlevisandhhboots Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I sure wish that my job required wear of high heels... Instead it is just the opposite, as heels would not be safe in the environment I work. TLAHHB
shorty82 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I sure wish that my job required wear of high heels... Instead it is just the opposite, as heels would not be safe in the environment I work. TLAHHB Earlier I was browsing the shoe section of Target. I saw a heel or two where I thought "I wonder if I could get away with that at work?" Where I work has sorta strict rules concerning shoes (must be black, able to be polished, and have laces are the main ones for men). I don't think it says anything about the heel. I'd be tempted to try it but I'm on my feet 8+ hours a day, none of my coworkers know I wear heels, and I'm sure management (and coworkers) would hassle me over my footwear regardless of what the rules say.
