Tinkerbell
After watching this all the way through... I thought this video was definitely one to share with the hhplace community! I suddenly wish I was single (sorry babe) because I'd go hunt this guy down and marry him just to see what he'd do at our wedding! http://www.freakybestmanspeech.com/ Gotta watch until the end... trust me. Puffer
Thanks, Tinkerbell - but isn't this posting in the wrong department? I thought it was amusing and the best man was very professional - maybe he is a stand-up comedian in real life. But it was a little long-winded and, given that it had only one theme, not a traditional best man's speech. It is always helpful to keep in mind that a speech (as distinct from a lecture) should be like a lady's dress: short enough to be interesting but long enough to cover all the essentials! ShockQueen
Agreed - moving to general discussion forum area. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
Histiletto
Actually Tinkerbell, you'd have to find another good friend of this guy to have him be the best man. Maybe your husband could get to know him and you could have a kind of anniversary celebration with him being the master of ceremony. This video kind of reminded me of the movie called "Serendipity". Jeremy Piven's character is Jonathan's (Cusack) best man. The movie is a romantic joy to watch, especially for those who believe that fate defines their destiny. kikepa
Funny! But where were the heels? Those who really care about us don't make a fuss about what we wear. Those who make a fuss about what we wear really don't care about us.
