Bubba136 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I have a few pair of penny stile loafers that I regularly wear as my "normal" footwear. The last pair I purchased were brown leather with 4" chunky heels and fit so well and were very comfortable that I bought the same style in black and burgundy, too. But, I've never bought two identical pair of shoes at one time. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Majo Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I've bought a few identical pairs, and have others which are the same model in different color. If I like the shoe and is comfortable... it's worth it.
BoyLegs Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I have bought the same shoe in several colors often. If I like them and they fit, definitely. It's a great way to end up with more shoes than you have room to store.
Joni T Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I haven't bought 2 of the same pair until recently. I had a pair of brown suede pumps from Payless that I lived in and they went with everything and one day they broke and were un-repairable and I almost cried because I didn't have another pair.
MrsFoxyheels Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I don't have duplicate shoes but hubby has several pairs identical to mine, he often comes home with matching his and hers shoes.
luvmaryjanes Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Yes, extras of men's but not my heels. Stupid thing is I take such good care of my shoes that I'll never wear out the first pair.
