Here are some pictures of the Alexander Wang Constance booties.

The instep is leaned a bit forward and gives a strange feeling. Heel height is 15cm (6") and the platform 3cm (1.25") so you get 12cm (4.8") difference and the instep is really steep. I would say the feeling is more extreme than in the CL Pigalle 120 (13.9cm) or Brian Atwood Nico 120 (13.1cm). Not very easy to walk -at least for me-.

They fit well... I'm a 11.5 in the Brannock device and these are 41 so, quite true to size.

I just love them. If you ever decide to get rid of them I will gladly take them over from you.

They look great. I would love to have mine done, but my lovely lady said no.

I turned 64 last month, but keep on getting very good remarks of how young I am, some say not a day over 50. But that does not keep me away from some serious heeling. Happy heeling JJ

Here is my latest pair from Aldo.

The heel is 4¼" at the back with a ½" platform.

I like the wide straps which make them very comfortable to wear.

I just love them.

Hmm! Interesting article. I would imagine that in countries with so-called "tighter" cultures, high heel wearing men would be greatly frowned upon. But that's just my opinion.

Jeffb. I do agree there with you here with us you will be frowned upon if you wear ladies shoes in public espessially stilletos with out long jeans or thigh high boots. That is why I wear my boots and 4" stillettos with wide long jeans. Sigh.

Beautiful heels they are so sexy. Wish I had a pair like that.

I stay on the other side of the world and we are having very cold weather here. 0c and 16 during the day and they predict tomorrow 0c and 10c with some thunderstorms and a possiblity of snow.

It must be almost two months since I bought my current favourite heels and I have been thinking that my high heels collection is missing a pair of bright red heels (to go with blue jeans, obviously). My blue and white Peep Toe brand sandals have been so awesome with how they fit and feel that I looked up what Peep Toe have in red and found these.

I would have preferred a sandal or even a sling back because I like the sort of bare foot look and also I like my toes to be less scrunched. Also they are plats and I am not so into plats. But they are not really full plats and this is all Peep Toe have in real red right now. Probably because they do not have their new spring shoes out yet. Part of me says just go to Galleria and get them but then I think … eeek … $250. But then my blue and white Peeps were $275 and they have been about the best heels I have bought. I love them.

So hard to know what to do. Sob.

Hi there Toby. There I am very lucky, my wife and I wear the same size shoe a UK 8 and I have her permission to wear any of her shoes, she wear heels out as long as she is not taller than me with shoes on, so I go up to a 4 1/2" pair of boots that I wear out on a regular basis with her We have about 55 pairs of different type of shoes,eg Drop Dead, Iron Fist,Pleasers, Zoom, Aldo and Rage and various other brands. We go out and buy shoes for us together, she tries them on and if they are comfortable and I like them we buy them. Yes I do have a few pairs and have a pair of Pleaser Indulge 543 that I am mad about, they are so comfortable.

Not to be critical, but there is already a thread for posting new shoes and another for posting new boots. It would have been better to use them instead of starting a new one; and without photos, the descriptions are pretty sketchy. Your post would have been more meaningful if you had waited to get the photos taken, or at least posted links. Guys are visual and need illustrations.
