  1. Hi everyone.

Around 3 weeks ago I ordered a pair of Bordello Teeze 20 from an online site (have only ever seen these shoes online, not in any shops here in the UK). Today they have finally arrived (I think the problem was not with the site I ordered them from, but with the post office). Anyway, I digress...

I don't know how to add pics, so if you type "bordello teeze 20" into google images, you'll see what they look like. I had ordered the ones in black with a red sole, but when they arrived this morning, they had a black sole (I'm not 100%, but it may be that the red sole has been discontinued). Still, they are absolutely gorgeous nonetheless. (The shoes also come in black and white by the way)

They have a hidden platform, so while they are very high, they are surprisingly easy to walk in (much easier than they look they'd be), and they are very comfortable. So I'd recommend these shoes to anyone.

The price varies from site to site - the cheapest I've seen them at is £45 (but that website has since stopped selling them), the dearest (I've seen) being around £80. There are plenty of US sites and the average price there seems to be around $70.

They do run a size small though, and are quite narrow. I'm usually a UK size 9, and the biggest size was US 12 (usually converts to UK size 10), but they were listed on the site I bought them from as UK size 9.5. So I was a little worried that they may not fit.

Well, they do. Perfectly. I think UK sites have intentionally converted the US size into a UK size that is half-size smaller, so that people don't make the mistake of ordering in their normal shoe size and finding that they are too small.

Anyway, I love 'em, so thought I'd share with everyone here. If you're interested, check out Amazon - plenty of reviews on there. But just be aware, you may think you've ordered in a red sole, but the chances are that they will come with a black sole instead.

Wow they are stunning would not mind a pair myself. If you ever want to get rid of them you know where to send them.

  2. Ok, here are my answers:

    1. I am software developer in the Air Traffic Control sector

    2. 80% men 20% women

    3. I just showed up in heels one day

    4. Mostly no reaction of all, two co-workers asked my why I was wearing heels, the secretary (woman) sometimes makes me show my footwear to her

    5. I did not notice any acceptance problems

    6. I am doing it for three years now

    7. I started with block heels (~8cm), often wear boots with stacked or block heels, sometimes stilettos (right now for example - see attachment) when the wheather is now too hot. This summer I sometimes wore sandals. Heel heights vary from 8 to 12cm but mostly 10cm.

The workplace has never been a problem, but since I am traveling by train (packed by pupils in the mornings/afternoons) the way to/from work is sometimes challenging.

PS: I know the picture is a bit crappy but my mobile won't do much better

I love the Heels. I cannot wear Heels where I am working but when my Fiance and myself go out i wear as high as she will let me.

  3. I've occasionally bought crappy shoes from places like Payless, shoes I'd never have the balls to go out and wear in public, and truth be told found horribly uncomfortable (and ended up throwing out or donating).

These are my first PROPER pair of womens' shoes, bought with comfort and "stealth" in mind:

They arrived last week, and am absolutely shocked at the difference a well made pair of shoes can make - they're amazingly comfortable. Went out yesterday with them on for the first time in public. Despite nerves, I can't say that a single person gave me a second look.

They are absolutely stunning enjoy them.

  4. Thank you all thus far for the kind responses! As for the questions, I only wear my heels at home and I agree that they would be best for a very formal event. However as I only wear my heels indoors and mostly on carpet, I could wear these just about everyday but I have so many other pretty pairs it can be hard to decide what to wear. Thanks again and feel free to ask anything else about this particular pair or whatever you may be interested in knowing about other shoes previously mentioned.

They are really beautiful. Love the bows. If I may ask are they not a bit big?

    JJ

  5. Thank you very much!

Well I do not paint my nails, but you are right, they are from Iron Fist. Unfortunately, a little bit too small :irked:...

Hi there yes I also have a pair of iron fist heels as well as a pair of drop dead also from iron fist. They are not as high as yours. They are both pink with paterns on them and as you say they are bit small I take UK 8 or 41 and find thatthey are a tad small but we do not get them in any bigger sizes here with us. I am having trouble to post pic's, but the moment I can I will share my collection with you. By the way I got a pair of heels from YDE down in Cape Town with pink Yes with pink heels.

  6. If I can suss out how to upload pics then I'll have a go. Although I'm not a complete brain donor, I'm NOT technically minded !!

Do noot worry I am here a long time and are still struggeling to op load some of my pic.s. I am not sure but you have to on for a while before you can post pictures.

  7. I bought this pair from La Redoute.

Though they don't have a high heel, I love the look in the mirror : it is the same as if I wore higher heels hidden under long pants, except that I don't have to buy longer pants and the shoes are wearable in any occasion. And they feel just like pumps : very close to the skin and light.

I must say that I like them as well. Very good looking, enjoy them.

  8. Yes, the ones with the studded look. (See picture below)

Too bad Steve Madden don't sell shoes in size 11 (at least not in my area)

If so, then I would buy the same ones for sure :irked:

Are they comfortable to walk in ?

PS: Can't wait for the fall shoot with HH boots !

Wow I just love the shoes the are stunning.
