  1. My fiance and myself wear the same size shoe UK 8, so we share and she does not mind that I wear her's at home. I can only wear block heel boots or heels about 3 to 4" out with her. She's got some very sexy colourful wedges 4" to 5" that I wear at home so often. I asked her the other day if it would be possible f I could get myself a pair of6" HHS and she said if I could walk with them she see no problem and will byu me a pair for Chistmas, so I am waiting for it.

  2. I have quite a few 4" hhs that I am very comfortable wirh.. Then I have a few 5" hhs with a 1" platform that is so comfortable that I can walk in them for lon periods. I wish that I had some 6" that I could try. Perhaps some one would donate me a pair. I will pay the postage.

  3. We got something similar here in South Africa, called Sisters with Blisters, it is a 8 or 4 km walk, for the abuse against women and children, on 26 November. On one condition men must walk with stillettos. I am going to walk and will post some pictures, as I did last year. I think there are two more SA Heelers that is also going to walk. Come on GUYS and Girls.:smile:

  4. Hey folks,

I stopped heeling (and dressing) and hadn't visited the forum in a while. I'm back, with a few recent acquisitions!

    1. eBay'ed this Via Spiga spectator oxford, 3 1/2" heel, 1/2" platform

    2. Charles by Charles David Pompadour pump, 4" heel

    3. Nine West Stepout pump, 4" heel

    4. and 5. Cole Haan Air Swan oxford, 4" heel, 3/4" platform

I can only keep one of the Cole Haan's :)... black or 'pinot noir'??? They both have a nice polished leather look.

They are all very beautiful... If I may ask why can you only keep one of theCole Haan's.

  5. You might want to try this if your toes feel to tight and the shoe is made of a man made product. Not leather in other words. A long time ago my girl friend at the time had the same problem. What she did was put a sock on and then the shoe. And then put a hair dryer on hot and heated up the area that was tight. And the shoe stretched enough to make it all better. The sock was used to add more pressure from the inside and it also prevented her foot from getting burned. I remember her saying the shoe was very hot.

Thank you for this very good information. I am going to try it but do not know about the sock, as they are too tight as it is, wil have to stand the heat though.

  6. The method that is sometimes suggested is to put a plastic bag with water inside the shoe and then put the whole thing in the freezer. When the water freezes the ice occupies more volume and hence will stretch the shoe. I have however no personal experience with this and I would be afraid that it could damage the shoe if the leather is not elastic enough. On the other hand, if you look a bit in old threads you should encounter some posts in which people report success with this method.

In short: it is your own responsibility when you want to try this. Maybe you can experiment with a less favorite pair of shoes first.

    Y.

Thank you for coming back to me.

I have seen the one about the ice in the freezer, but then I am afraid it will damage the material as it is not leather.

  7. Hi there, I am sitting with the same problem. I got a pair of Iron Fist heels UK 8 (tried to ( tried to post a pic but no seccess) and no matter how long I wear them they still are tight over the toes. I tried water and some of the other remedies quoted somewhere else, no no avail. Any suggestions????

  8. I'm not really clicking with any of the block-heel styles appearing this season, but I really like the shape of the heels on these ( http://www.newlook.com/shop/shoe-gallery/shoes/peep-toe-platform-court_227120747 ). They looked and felt great when I tried them on, and I'm thinking they'll look good with a matching blue top and black tailored trousers and jacket.

I just love them. If the postage from there were not so high I would get myself a pair as well.

    Enjoy them
