Get yourself some good toe cushions, like ouch pouch, for en pointe ballet dancers

I prefer ballets if they are an ankle boot, as you can get yourself some ankle support. The Femme's were ok in their day, but can you get them now ? I would have another pair of 1020 ankle boots tomorrow

It takes time to be able to walk proficiently in ballet heels.

It's great that you are making progress, just keep up the practice,

and look after your toes

any padding is better than none, its just ballet toe pads make ballets walkable,

Standing and walking in ballet heels takes a little practice, but you'll get there.

Get some toe pads.

Heels can never be too high MollyFabs, it's whether we can wear them, and walk outdoors in them that is the challenge

are those a pair of those wonderous ballet heels, with the small toe box added at the front. I love the look with the jeans, of just the tiny toe box on view.

They are not planning making them at the moment, but I'll buy some when they decide to.

I agree with Dr Shoe's comments above - they'd make great trainers, and I'd like to see a straighter version

Amanda, I agree with you. I love to see girls in the highest of heels, but they've got to be able to walk in them

High heels are definitely an addiction - I love them

This is an idea that Billheelman and myself discussed a long time ago. They need further refinement - but they are extremely random - which is fun

I'd quite happily have a pair, the scary thought being what they'd try and charge you for them

I had to slightly lower the heel on my Femme boots, but now they are great to walk around in, absolutely love them

I ordered my standard European male size, in my case a 43, and they fit well.

yes I have some pony boots, and they are extremely stable and easy to walk in.

2 - mine are from Punitive shoes and are Rancho ankle boots

3 - they are comfortable, reasonable quality, only the delivery was slow

4 - you rely on being laced into the boots for support, so that there is actually no weight on your toes. The other good thing is that due to their shape, there is plenty of room in the toe box for your toes.

It's an interesting question - my boots have a 12 inch heel, and still class them as heels. I think Teeza is being very brave having a 7 inch instep on an 8 inch platform, although I know she is well practiced on extreme heels
