Normally, light-up shoes seem to fall into exactly two categories: children's sneakers and stripper heels. But Anastasia Radevich uses fiber optics to soften the lighting so that it highlights the shoe rathen than, say, keeping the wearer from being hit by passing cars. Combined with her airy, alien heels the shoes barley look real, much less able to support a human.

Me thinks this is a Hoax by one of those Japanese companies that make those very realistic looking dolls.
Time will tell.

This is EXCELLENT product, believe me:
You don't have to replace the whole zipper, only the slider. Works beautifully!!
Now I just need a to find a seller of these Sliders.

Not Heels, But a nice experience:
My wife recently bought us both a gym membership. Having not been to a gym in years I need a new pair of sneakers (trainers for you blokes across the pond).
I wanted to get a light weight pair of sneakers for riding the stationary bike and for general working out. I shopped the usual department stores and athletic shops first. Either did not find what I wanted or the price was way more than I was looking to spend.
Last stop on the way out of the mall, I tried Payless. Again all the men's sneakers were heavy and bulky. So I moved down the aisle a bit to the womens section. I found these in a size 12:
I tried them on and I loved them, pretty much decided to buy them. Just then a sales woman approached and asked if I needed help. I said, well being you asked, do you have these in a 12 wide? She looked at the box and said these were ladies size 12. She could not find a 12 wide, but offered me an 11 wide to try on. Of course being in sales, when I tried them on she said they looked really nice and comfortable on me.
She then left me with both pair to make up my mind. I decided the 12's were better, but I did like the wide.
When I got to the checkout counter, she asked how they felt. I said I did liked that they were not as heavy and bulky as the men's style.
Then I asked if she could check on her computer for the availability of a 12 wide. She found a pair in another Payless I often shop. She then called to verify they had them and had them hold the pair for me. Bonus time: she handed me a "reservation" slip, told me to take that with me, and it included a $4.00 off coupon. I thanked her, told her I really did appreciate her help.
When I walked into the second store, I told the sales girl I was there for a "hold". She said, "Oh, are you Gary?", and handed me the box from behind the counter.
I tried them on, loved the fit. Paid, thanked her and walked out very pleased.
Now I begin my quest to loose 50 pounds by year end. Wish me luck.

I've recently become ' pampered ' of sorts by my better half due to some weird circumstances. She put me in her silk/satin sleep ware and honestly.. Shes not getting it back! Its MINE now
How the hell did I ever sleep in those old scruffy cotton PJ's is beyond me!
Silk/Satin sleepwear feels fantastic on freshly shaven skin.
So, If you haven't tried that yet. Do It!
You will love the feel.

A while back I found these Nine West Giddy boots on sale at a local Nine West Outlet Store. I could not resist, so I tried them on. The fit was excellent. Walking around on the carpet in the store was OK too. So I took them home, even though I was not real happy with the stiletto heel.
I stopped in one day to visit my favorite shoe repair guy. When I asked him about replacing the heels with Block Heels, he told me he could not get 5 inch Block Heels. So I put the boots away.
A while later I saw a pair of size 12 pumps at Target.com with 5 inch Block Heels.
They also were on sale at a pretty good price, so I ordered them.
I compared the pumps, side by side with the boots. Then I thought, umm, Maybe I can just switch the heels. Which I did.
After a final switch, with some longer screws and some glue, then some black leather dye for the heels, I Now have a pair of "Custom" Nine West, 5 Inch Block Heel Boots.
Much easier to walk in and much more stable with the Block Heels.
I also think with the platform, the thicker heels just look better with these boots. But anyway, now I enjoy wearing them often.
I am still working on attaching the stiletto heels to the pumps just for fun. Then I suppose I will give them away if anyone wants them.

Hmm that's a good point daniel... I've just looked on my phone and they are a bit dark. Maybe because my monitor at home is LED backlit and brightens everything up! Will take some with better lighting / flash later and compare. If they're a marked improvement I'll post a couple
Just for fun. I adjusted the brightness and contrast a bit. I hope you don't mind.

The "CON" article was written by a self proclaimed "Frumpy Middle-Aged Mom"

That kinda explains her view point.
As opposed to JULIE GALLEGO who just seems to Love High Heels:

Some nice designs, and the prices are great. Any idea about their quality?
If only they were available in a brick and mortar shop nearby.
Anne Michelle Footwear is sold in Burlington Coat Factory Stores.
At least I have seen them there.

Not the best quality photo, but it is my first "Street Shot".
We were installing window graphics in an office this week.
A cute redhead kept walking past us. Petite and maybe in her 40's.
I could not help notice her heels under a pants suit.
After a bit she had a brief meeting in the conference room, where I was able to snap this picture. We always take photos of our work when we finish, so taking this shot did bring any extra attention to us.
Black leather pointed toe pumps with maybe 4" heels.
