  1. Three sisters from Nottingham -- Jill, Marie and Fanny -- were always on the look out for new boy friends. They hung around all local Disco's. However, their dancing skills were hampered by having enormous feet. Jill's were size 8, Marie's size 10, and Fanny's a whopping size 12.

One night Jill and Marie decide to leave Fanny behind, and go to the disco on their own, hoping they might be more successful. Sure enough, within minutes they were dancing withtwo eligible lads. All was going well, until they were walking home as a foursome...

"Hey, I've just noticed something," said one of the lads. "Haven't you two got big feet?"

"Well," said Marie, "if you think they are big, you should see the size of our Fanny's!"

  2. How about a Riddle?

A woman buys a new pair of shoes, goes to work, and dies.

How and why did this happen?

    And, the answer is......

The woman is the assistant to a circus knife-thrower, who stands in front of a target as knives are thrown around her. The new shoes have higher heels than she normally wears, causing the thrower to misjudge his aim.

  3. Tough question.

1, I already have quite a few shoes of my dreams, mostly mj's and d-0rsey style but what I don't have is:

MJ's, leather, 4 1/2 to 5" stacked or thick heel w/at least a 1" wide strap and maby a 1/4" to none platform. (blk).

    How about something like this?

  4. i was once watching regis and kelly in the morning and they were talking about some running marathon..the person who wins gets i think about $75,000 shopping spree for shoes......lool and then kelly started running in place with her heels, she was really excited talking about shoes.

Here is a link to that segment, found on YouTube.com:

  5. Anyone ever heard of such a thing as a shoe strap extender? I've got a pair of these (white gloss, size 14) that would fit perfectly if the strap was an inch longer

Failing that, do you know anywhere I could get some made?

I had the same problem a few years ago with a very similar pair of shoes.

On mine, the buckle part was attached to the shoe with a short piece of elastic material. I had the shoe repair guy remove this and re-attach the buckle with a longer piece of elastic. It worked very well, and was not expensive at all. Good Luck.

Of all the restaurants that might offer a $200 truffle-laden burger on their menu Burger King is probably one of the last ones, if not the last one, that comes to mind. But believe it or not Burger King has launched a $200 hamburger called simply "The Burger" that features Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine, and shallot-infused mayonnaise all served up on an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun.

That's quite a list of ingredients.

"The Burger" will be on sale once per week in London and proceeds go to benefit the Help a London Child charity.

The Next Heel Meet Must Be Planned Accordingly.

  7. Since it is rather appearant I am not very fashion oriented, and not wanting to look a fool when I go out on the town in my heels, I was hoping you more savvy folks here could help me out.

In the process of getting more "style" clothes for myself and have some questions...

    1. I WANT to get nice pairs of straight/boot cut tight jeans (especially black) to wear my shoes with. I know they'd look better. Problem is, with my "breeder hips" and fat ass (for a guy), I have not been able to find any men's jeans like this to fit me, hence the far too baggy ones. Should I buy women's jeans? If so, how do I go about finding the right size? Any other pants recommendations?

    2. What kind of shirt would you recommend for someone with my build to wear with said jeans/slacks and stilettos? I would like to wear a nice button down, collared silk job, but will it make me look like a stuffed pepper?

    3. Any other heels you recommend besides blocky ones for me (I currently buy/wear stilettos)? I have seen wedges that I liked, but rarely thick heels...

    4. Beige collared shirt, beige trousers, "nude" stockings, dark brown sling-backs?? Work?

    5. I heard the term "stylist" bandied about. Where do you find yours? I'd rather the advice of people who don't just want to tell me what I want to hear...

    Thanks in advance!

In my opinon, formed from my own experience...

#1. Easy. Womens Pants/Jeans Are the Way to go. Go to any help your self type store. I started in Walmart myself. Find a nice pair of womens jeans and try them on. Try different styles and sizes utill you find the one you look best in.

#2. Also easy. I wear the same type of shirts I have been wearing all along. Wear what you like, so you are most comfortable. If you will be thinking about your heels, you do not need to be worried about your shirt style too.

#3. Again, my personal opinion. I like block heels for me. If you are comfortable in stilettos (as are many of our members here) wear them.

    #4. Sounds good to me.

#5. I am my own LOL

Just ask Kneehighs, he will tell you how wonderfully cooridinated I always am.

  8. But I can understand why guys would go to them because of the larger sizes available.

My thoughts exactly. I believe a Lot of Guys would be buying better quality shoes if they were available in larger sizes. As we all know, most brands only go up to US 11 or European 41. Nine West knows that size 12's will sell, and seem to be offering more size 12's every year. Steve Madden even sneaks out a few size 12's once in a while.
