Great collection of shoes, definately plenty in there that could be seen as more "masculine" but not to suggest they don't appear to be "feminine"

Definately would love to get hold of a pair of the ones you have shown

Oxfords were the first pair of fetish shoes I bought (not counting the ballet heels that came first) got them from Paradiso Bodyworks in Soho, no idea of the manufacturer but to me they had the correct balance of point / round to the toe and heel height. Sold them to one of our members.

    Big D

Frye Boots have been around for a long time, obvioulsy first making boots for men. I guess as they evolved into making boots, then shoes, for women, they kept the "masculine" look. I agree, I like many of those styles too.

    Saks Fifth Avenue's shoe-a-palooza

Today Saks Fifth Avenue has unveiled it's largest shoe department in New York City. What makes it the largest shoe department ever? Could it be the 10,000 pairs of shoes or that fact that the department warrants its own zip code (10022)? Yep, its that serious. A sea of stilettos, boots, sandals, mules, high heels, kitten heels, and more.

Actress Debra Messing and celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch were there today to cut the purple ribbon. Bloch stated that "You couldn't have kept us away. When they asked me to come I thought Saks...ahhh ...Debra ...ahhh ...shoes ...ahhh...this could be trouble." I would be in trouble too if I were surrounded by a pair of $1700 gold Christian Louboutin heels (which Bloch couldn't resist so he tried them on himself).

Messing's mind was clearly blown, "This is mind-blowing, awe-inspiring, titillating; it makes me feel like I want to dance throughout the entire room. It's also sort of frustrating because with 10,000 styles it's too much and you just can't have it all." Her first purchase was a pair of Louboutin peep-toe pumps for $950.

Just hearing about their excitement (reported from Fashion Week Daily) has me green with envy. Talk about a kid in the candy store. I get all giddy inside DSW and that is like the bruised fruit warehouse compared to a gigantic Saks. If you find yourself in New York's Cities Saks, trek on up the 8th floor and buy me a pair of Louboutins. Or just tell me how much fun you had drooling over 10,000 pairs of shoes.

Maybe we can get Kneehighs to visit and give us a review.

    Crocs cause 40 escalator accidents

As I've discussed, time and time again, Crocs are one of the 21st century's great fashion tragedies. They're unattractive, annoying, and simply refuse to go away. Wretch!

And today we learn that not only are they ugly, Crocs are also dangerous. The popular imitation clogs have recently been causing accidents on escalators in Japan -- so many, in fact, that the Japanese government has urged the public to be more careful when wearing the plastic monstrosities.

Apparently, the brightly-colored safety hazards have been getting caught in the moving stairs. Fortunately, most people have been escaping unscathed, but one 5-year-old girl broke her middle toe and had three of her toenails ripped off when she couldn't pull her foot out in time.

However, there is a plus side -- many of those involved reported that their Crocs were damaged in the accidents.

  4. From an online post about Las Vegas Comebacks

Prince - When the purple one opened his show at the Rio late last year, it seemed like a perfect fit. I mean, we're talking about a guy who, like Vegas, is equal parts elegant and gaudy. But, after just a few months of sold-out shows, our pint-sized friend skipped town. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had Prince stayed. Would he have started his own Rat Pack featuring guys in high-heels and puffy shirts? Would he have talked Mayor Oscar Goodman into painting city hall purple? Sadly, we'll never know.
