>> Just the pain in the balls at the end of the evening was a bit bad. <<
If I get any pain its usually in my feet.

>> I did however tell her that the next time she mopped a floor I wanted to watch. <<
Taken out of context that line could have some people hoping up and down,

They are not allowed to give it out.
All you can do is ask them to pass your details on.

From the image above I don't understand how the sole is made rigid in the angled shape when the heel is extended and then rigid again in the flat shape when the heel is retracted. If it isn't rigid, then it would be unwearable. Any ideas?

Heh, no problem, I often lose the plot too.

9 West have stores in Oxford Street and Kensington High Street in London, and maybe in Covent Garden too.
Brands I like: Gina but way out of my price range.
Have to make do with Faith, Sasha, Barratts and so on.
I visited Schuh in Norwich last year -- yeah, nice!
Aldo in London is also often interesting.

I was in London on 2003-06-15 and 2003-06-16 and had a great time.
I posted a report in some other thread like: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?t=39&postorder=asc&start=48 by mistake.
I tried to find Cover Girl on a previous trip but failed. Are you sure they are still there?
I have never been down Kings Road. Who is there?
There are a huge number of places to go in London. No way to get round all of them in one day.

>> It's the picture jo was trying to post. <<
Umm, I wasn't trying to post anything at all. I was merely giving the instructions and examples of how to post here.
I just used an image that had already been posted in another thread, so as not to use any extra space on the server.
It just happened to be first image that I came across. I hope everyone is able to follow the three different examples.
As for browsers, I wouldn't use the Infernal Exploiter if you paid me. I converted to Mozilla long ago, and might consider Opera or Firebird, and not a lot else.

This is the way to make a link to an image, display an image, or link to a long URL:
Linking to an image, with the image URL as the link text, available as a clickable link:
http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/images/1054824706.jpg
Linking to an image, making the image itself display in the message:
http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/images/1054824706.jpg
Linking to an image, where the URL is very long, using short text for the link:
Nice Boots
Use this latter style of link when the URL is very long; only the words "Nice Boots" appear on screen instead.
This method prevents thread stretch.
Remember that you can always re-edit a post to correct errors if any problems occur now or later.

Any more updates forthcoming with new images?

Hmmm, memories of http://www.patentletter.com/patentenglish/ from a few years ago.
I wonder why that newsletter no longer continues.

From: http://www.i-jonez.com/v1/Dimes/deeca.htm
My best friend told me I have a sickness because I bought 17 pairs of shoes in the span of 2 weeks…Do you think that’s bad?
What do you put on when you want to feel sexy?
I am a shoe freak. When I buy shoes I look at stilettos and pumps. I have a thing for straps…a sexy ass stiletto heel with a nice bustier and thongs. It leaves enough to the imagination.
A secret shoe-a-holic.

I wonder if the photographer knew what sort of mayhem he would cause and did run off a few private images for later; or whether he was just inept?

>> Do these three have websites by any chance? <<
Try these:
http://www.TheLittleShoeBox.com/
If in doubt, guess (Or try Google).
Take a look at the list linked from http://www.hhplace.org/ or the list at http://www.atlantic-line.fr/~pgts/ as well.

Superb video. The girl in the shopping trip video is a little unsure of herslf, but does really well. In the other video, for the Rocky horror show, the model is very confident and agile in them. I am certainly very impressed with that.

I like the boots a lot; but now isn't quite the right time of year for those. Maybe when it gets a bit cooler. They are nice and high, and really long in the leg. Superb. I would wear the leg tie sandals. Very nice. Good shopping trip. Glad you found some bargains.

Also Leatherworks, Southgate Road, Islington, London has something very similar, and the heel unscrews as they offer two heel styles.
They are located just over ten minutes walk from either Highbury and Islington or the Angel tube stations, in London.

If you start off at http://www.hhplace.org/ there is a whole list (several pages long) of suitable retailers linked from there.
Additionally there are also a number of useful threads invarious places in this forum with advice on good and bad retailers.

I have edited the image that Robert posted earlier in this thread on 2003-06-22 Sun 01:01:17 to remove a background distraction:

I like the court shoes. A number of people are doing something similar, many, like this, with a little decorative strap and miniature buckle somewhere across the toe area. They are really nice like that.
The sandals in the lower image have been a round for a little while. I think I have seen them in TK Maxx, and Faith might have something similar. Obviously Sasha already have them on display.

>> I ordered one style and they sent a different (though still very attractive). <<
Not heard of other people having those sorts of problems before. In fact, quite the opposite. I have heard of people not being sure about exactly which size to buy and they have shipped out two pairs of shoes with instructions to try them both and return one pair to them.
>> When I tried contacting them about the mix up, they did not respond (I'm not sure why). <<
They have a good reputation for being helpful. Looks like an oversight, lost communication, someone on holiday, or just very busy type of thing. I would keep trying.
>> The shoes appear to be designed more for men than women (at least the pair I bought). <<
Their biggest market is crossdressers and TVs. They attend all of the fairs and away weekends around the country, and are well known. Their stuff isn't available from many places, mostly direct sales, and at events.

Ummm, I now have an Ericsson T610. It has in-built camera (not very high resolution and needs a lot of light though), along with IR transfer and Bluetooth capabilities.
Expect some mayhem later.

Nice to see a normal sort of retailer actually acknowledging that some of their customers are differently enthusiastic and are catering for their needs too. That information page might help a lot of men, shy at ordering such things, to place an order knowing that the retailer really doesn't mind who buys their products.

Wonderful images again. I have tried a pair of those shoes with the metal heels and they are sooooo high. Full respect for anyone who can wear them properly and do them justice!

Yum. It does indeed.
