  1. Balletboot2000 Ha! love the photo, that's what I love about wearing heels, thay make your footprint look alot smaller. I should try the same in my wedges as they have a diminishing sole and make my footprint far smaller than it really is.

  2. Thanks very much, Well the Purple Oxfords are from Miss Selfridge, the Brown ones are from New Look and the peep toe wedges are Betty Jackson bought From TK Maxx. I'd like to do a full on body wax and cross dress to put the bulges in the right place and reduce the other but I don't think I can get away with a reasonable excuse for the hair loss to my GF and no I'm not going to tell her for a long while yet. I'm fortunate to be a slim 6'4". my waist is 32" and the corset can get me comfortably down to 26". I had a corset that would go a bit smaller but that took some practice and I don't get as much of a chance nowadays. My shoe size is UK9 which usually means I can fit a UK8 heel, I find the arching of the foot will shorten the length enough to suit an 8, the higher the better. Though the Black patent ones are UK9 and I don't think I'd fit an 8. I prefer my heels to be tighter than my usual shoes, it feels that bit more "special" than my normal walking boot style I usually wear. Big D

  3. Hello all

Whilst the GF was away I had some fun over the weekend and was able to take some photos of the new shoes.

I took the opportunity to wear some clothing more appropriate to wearing heels. I donned a couple of pairs of black tights (can't shave my leg hairs), a pair of hot pants, my black corset and a suitable shirt as can be seen in the photos.

I went out on a bit of a shopping spree in the above get up under normal street clothes; I left the house in the pair of brown peep toe wedges but I'm afraid I bottled it when I got to the United Footwear store. Not much there but a pair of round toe wedges good for walking home from work in in the dark but didn't get them, might do this weekend though.

I went on to a store I know nearby out of town that does the ususal stuff I can get from United but also have a small fetish range. I found a pair of black patent stilettos with a 3/8 inch ankle strap, 5.25" heel (4.5" to the centre of the shaft). I asked the girl in the shop if I could try the pair on, she seemed a stunned by a 6' 4" bloke asking to try them on, however, slipped off my normal shoes and tried them on just as a woman walked into the shop, hitherto I was the only customer. The woman spotted me at the back of the shop did a double take and that was it.

    Anyway, they look like this

  4. Well I'll be!

I was wandering through town at lunch and wandered into Jade Shoes and saw a nice pair of brown lace ups oxfords in the window similar to the ones I picked up in New Look. Size 8 were on the shelf, were only going for £17.50 in the sale down from £35. Asked if they had a pair of 9 but no so bought the 8s.

Blow me, I scan through this thread, click on the Urban Outfitters link below to see if they still have those available and what do I discover, they are the same shoes albeit for the hidden platform. Excellent!

There is a bit of a trend in my shoe buying at the moment but what the hell.

  5. They were from New Look, where have you seen them? As I said they are not seemingly available here in Nottingham. For those who want a darker colour, they were also available in Black; keep looking, you may come up trumps. Big D

  6. Dear all

Was away in Cardiff last weekend without my girlfriend, so once my mates had departed, I had a chance to go shopping whilst I sobered up after the previous nights shenanigans.

Anyway, wandering around, found a nice little store called Excentrix, on Church Street, which had Pleaser heels in the windows but was unfortunately closed. Continued my search and wandered into New Look and found the cutest pairs of Round Toe Oxfords. As ever, looked great in smaller sizes but wasn't sure whether EU 41 / UK 8 would look okay but oh, the joy when I found a pair, so had to buy them straight away. Try below on my new Flickr pages for photos

The heel comes in at 4 1/4 inches and fit so well, I really really want to pluck up the courage to go out and about.

I have been unable to find them on the web site or in my local branches. I've not seen them before and they weren't in the sale so I think they are this seasons style.

Anyway hope you like the photos, will add more of others as I go.

  7. Cinnamon I thought the same about the foot trainers and went to buy a pair three or four years ago but the web site kept failing and I didn't get round to calling to make an order. I'd suggest cutting the length down so you one can bend the knee fully, then use some broad ribbon to lace the trainer to the calves in a criss cross pattern from the ankle to the top of the trainer. Any takers? Big D

  8. good question, and good reply. I'd like to try some ballet boots myself, but couldn't justify the kind of money they demand on something just to try.

I doubt they will ever become mainstream and be sold by Shoezone anytime soon though so it's just wishful thinking. 8)

I have a pair of Devious 1020 for sale, looking at selling for about £60; see For Sale

  9. Ballet Lover I can see what you mean, I've longed over trying to get a pair of shoes made similar to those you show (Tinamarie who purportedly owns the originals to some of the featured photes had a pair made by The Little Shoe Box but they got lost in the post after they were modified), however the proportions appear to be wrong for the model to be on her toes, especially if you compare to the stilettos and pumps pages, especially bottom right of page 2. 10. Gary0618 Great collection of shoes, definately plenty in there that could be seen as more "masculine" but not to suggest they don't appear to be "feminine" Definately would love to get hold of a pair of the ones you have shown Oxfords were the first pair of fetish shoes I bought (not counting the ballet heels that came first) got them from Paradiso Bodyworks in Soho, no idea of the manufacturer but to me they had the correct balance of point / round to the toe and heel height. Sold them to one of our members. Big D

  11. All Not really Oxford revival but earlier this week I saw a local business woman wondering around town. Her heels did not appear all that high only 4 inches or except her feet were at an extraordinary angle, which reminded me exactly of the photo shown below. I've often wondered just how many women wore shoes such as the ones below and the others in the collection as seen before, the angle is really quite steep, obviously forcing an incredible arch on the foot. I've seen this woman around before in slightly lower heels, generally in the current style of a simple round toe court, thick heel and wide strap across the bend of the ankle but the way in which she had to walk in these was amazing. I'm afraid I bottled it with regards to speaking to her, maybe i'll say hello another time. Big D

  12. Dear all

Not a particular fan of Posh / Victoria Beckham, however even though her out fit from last night's Glamour awards has caused plenty of media comment, I particularly liked it

In actual fact this is how I used to dress, with either black patent ballet heels or 5 1/2 inch black patent Oxfords when I went to fetish events (though I wore a couple of pairs of black nylons to hide the leg hairs) sorry no pictures of me available.

  13. Just shows how these boots need to be designed to prevent the big toe from taking all the weight as you walk. In the shot where she is sat down tightening up the laces, most of her toes on her left foot were nowhere near the edge of the shoe, therefore when she stood up, the her weight forced her foot to slide down the shoe, before the space was filled. This is where the toe box need to be designed to be narrower than you would normally wear but somewhat longer, so that the smaller toes take more of the weight from the big toe. Big D

  14. Very sad indeed, I would suggest that Hot Peppers Ballets were the best available. Lets hope that the expertise is not completely lost and that the designs may be resurected by another cobbler. I now wish I hadn't got rid of the Hot Pepper ankle boots I had. Big D

  15. Dear all

Whilst performing a quick scan of google images for ballet heels, if found a picture of a pair of wedge heeled ballet boots; followed the link and ended up at the following site

    http://www.heelsdeluxe.com/catalog/default.php

Low and behold what should I see, all the extreme heels that Heike shows on her web site, I've as yet been unable to find where she gets her shoes from, as there doesn't appear to be a link on her site.

Anyway, number of interseting styles, reather pricey though; it looks like styles bought from a number of other suppliers to which they modify, hence the expense.

Happy shopping if you are after any pairs.

Seeing that photo reminded me of a picture I found on "Spookthings" Spooks yahoo group, not sure if we've already had it shown to the forum.

I'm affraid I haven't been able to copy the link straight to the photo, however, follow this link, go to "footwear" then click on "placebos"

I am intersted in making a pair but currently do not have the facilities to do so. Good fun for the bedromm surely?

A year or so ago, a Kurt Geiger shop opened in the city, on a road known as shoe shop street (always a nice walk at lunch) anyway my girlfriend generally stops to have a swoon at the heels on display, however she is not a high heel girl but at some point around Christmas, they had a new range of patent high heeled Mary Janes, simply gorgeous.

    http://redapple.sweell.com/media/1/20060321-mini_geiger_mary_jane_vernice_nera.jpg

Every time we passed, she would press her nose against the window and look longingly at the shoes. She never tried them on as the price of about 160 quid was on the steep side and she didn't want to impulse buy for that amount.

One day I had the bright idea to see what was on ebay, lo and behold, there was a pair at 6 ½ , she normally takes a 7, at the time bids were at about 25 quid but there was a buy it now option for 60, so paid there and then.

To say she was pleased was an understatement and she looks fabulous in them, especially in the 60s style dresses she has. She has shown them off to various friends, one of whom I have never seen a woman nearly brought to tears over!

Seeing as she was so taken by them I’ve attempted to find another pair, with absolutely no avail, (would really like a pair for myself for the odd occasion I get to go to fetish fairs etc)

Present date, I was walking through town at lunch today and spotted a window display for Marks and Spencer’s new range of lingerie. I wondered in to see what I might next buy for my GF. As I was looking around I spotted a set of black patent heels and found that they are a very close match. See link to web site.

I think I will be buying a pair of 8s myself.

    Big d

Bought a pair of 8s last night  relativly tight fit as I take a 9 but still really quite comfortable; now the hardest thing is keeping them hidden in a house that doesn't have any good hiding places!
