Oh lord I am weak!
I am off to a do on Friday night.....well as you may have already read, I have been holding out for a pair of the Vivienne Westwood Elevated 3 strap shoes made my Melissa, see; http://www.hhplace.org/212065-post16.html
hoping they would still be available in the sales.
I have recently missed out on a pair of Melissa T Bar wedges from ebay to wear on Friday, so I was doing some searching to see if I could get them anywhere else in time and ended up discovering that the 3 straps are no longer in production and that they were becoming harder to come by.
I went into the local Westwood store to ask if they had any; no but they could order some in........which I got them to do. I do so want a pair but I've just forked out a grand to keep the car on the road so has been a difficult decision to make. I knew if I didn't buy them now, I would definitely regret it later, so the credit card has taken yet another beating!
Will definitely do some photos, hopefully in the seamed stockings I picked up today also:nervous:

Well I would have to know more information to really help, such as: what is your skin color and what color is your leg hair, and how short a skirt will you be wearing? Here are a couple of suggestions that you might try either one at a time or in combination: use a trimmer not to shave your leg hair but to shorten it up and thin it a bit, lighten the leg hairs with peroxide if you are fair skinned, wear bright heavy opaque tights instead of sheers, wear lace patterned tights (I am thinking in black if you have dark hair), or you might be able to get away with wearing something like Peevy tights under your stockings (be careful because Peevy tights can have a bright shimmer).
Peevy tights are worn by the waitresses at such fine dining establishments here in the States as Hooters. Prolegs.com and HotlegsUSA.com are two sites that carry brands of heavier pantyhose (not just Peevy).
gg_highheels
Well, seeing as you ask...
I'm white, dark haired, my legs are lightly tanned from the cycling. I'm going to wear hot pants.
Thanks for the suggestions, will definitely go for the shortening and will source a pair of something like the Peevy tights.

"Is this too much for a pair of boots?" - only if you can't justify the outlay. but seriously, you are paying for a name and a certain level of exclusivity.....I highly doubt they are actually worth that amount on a materials & time cost basis of manufacture, the cost of a "name" comes from the design time / number of pairs to be made..... Too much for me in anyway; i still can't justify £110 on the Vivienne Westwood designed Melissa 3 straps....... Richard

Dear all A little advice please? I am going to a fetish do at the end of the week and intend on wearing my cream & black t-bars; at the last one, someone suggested I wear stockings, which i am intending on doing BUT I do not want to shave my legs - I am a mountain bike racer and my friends would notice that I have shaved them, without good reason (there is no speed advantage in this case!) I have bought 2 pairs of "nude" tights to cover my legs which I will then wear a pair of black seamed stockings over the top, suspended off my corset. The problem is the nudes don't do enough of a job of disguising the hairs. I ususally wear a couple of black, high denier tights to disguise, with a coloured or patterned pair over the top for style. So; would you please advise on a suitable combination of legwear to disguise the hairs but still show off the stockings without adding too much base colour? Please no "just shave" this is not helpful; my leags are scarred from many scrapes with flora and my pedals and are not in any fit state to be seen shaven. Yours in anticipation Richard PS; if you're really helpful i'll post photos.....

I'm also looking at buying a pair of Devious ballet boots, probably the 1025 ankle boots. They are a bit more expensive in the UK, but still one of the more reasonably priced brands.
Are the heels on all Devious boots too long? In some pictures on the Internet they look OK, but on others (and definitely in one Youtube video I saw) they look miles too long!
Has anyone got any first hand experience of the 1025 boots (ankle boots with padlock)? Are the heels OK or too long?
Thanks in advance...
Are the heels on all Devious boots too long? ;No absolutely fine; they are long but you are staning en-pointe!. A small ball of lambswool (any good chemist) should help stop the toe box collapsing if it is going to happen
Has anyone got any first hand experience of the 1025 boots? Yes, as above absolutely fine; you can't really go wrong with Devious

well i'll ask for more; Dear Highelluv's colleague, We would be most grateful if you would pose for more pictures in your fabulous heels collection. Yours faithfully richard

Hopefully, it won't be at a time when I can't share a bit of conversation as we both examine each others heels and make arrangement to further our association. Then again, I'd be happy to converse and compare heels with any heeler, male or female. Although, it's nice to associate in this forum, never-the-less, it's so much better to have a heeling partner to share walks, thoughts, and etc., even if it's just window shopping.

I'm with you; i've recently been able to openly admire, comment on and discuss the finer details of high heels with both men and women and it feels absolutely ******* great.
My GF knew i was turned on by heels and was more than happy for me to make suggestions etc but it is so much more satisfying to be able to have a rounded conversation on the subject. I've had a chap come up to me who had been thinking of buying heels and wanted to know how I went about it; was a nice position to be in.
So really, I think it is great and would discuss at the earliest appropriate oportunity.

Well having had a particularly bum couple of weeks trying to sort out what I really want in my life, ie heels and a fetish lifestyle or not? I met a few of my new BDSM friends and took my Knee High Ballet boots. The point of the gathering wasn't to "play" but i wanted an excuse to show off. Anyway, conversations unsurprisingly drifted towards each others kinks, to which i stated mine; and oh, well it led on to the "do you want me to show you?" of course everyone was intrigued.....the look on peoples faces were wonderful. People couldn't believe the moment I stood straight up and immediately started walking. so i wandered around, got a cup of tea and trotted off down the garden. Must have spent a couple of hours in them, before handing them over to everyone else to try on, which was of great entertainment to all. Had a great time, also got tied up in a latex corset mmm, tee hee and made me feel a whole lot better that there is nothing wrong with this lifestyle BRING IT ON!

Arrgh! £225! oh well, will have to pass.

Greetings Big D :-)
I like your wedge heel sneaker.
I already have a similar pair and they are very comfortable (See below).
You should go for it. I'm sure you won't regret your decision.
Now thinking about it, I will wear mine tomorrow
(Has been a while since last time I wore them ...)Mmm, that's not helping; the problem is making sure i don't spend money. living on my own is now costing me 50% more on bills - having only just paid off all my debts 2 months before our split i'm now back to the spending capacity of about 5 years ago!.......

all
having trouble keeping my wallet in my pocket.....though haven't spent yet
Have seen these, they're not particularly pretty but i do have a thing for wedge heel sneaker style; http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_60440_1081961_-1 only available in 8/41; have found it difficult to get eu41 with a platform to be comfortable (unsurprisingly); can't decide which colour.
Also seen these; http://www.barratts.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_10055_-1_97510_10553 seemingly available in uk9 but the listings for the past week have suggested they're out of stock, must go and ask.

No, as I stated in my first message, there is also Wildfire, which i can only find for sale through Pony Ranch; http://ponyplayranch.com/ecom/ppr_store/products.php?category_id=1
ranging from $580 for the ankle boots (in the sale!
) to $1245!
for the oh, so beautiful crotch highs.I so much want a pair of the crotch highs but at that price i'm just not able to justify the expense!
Richard
Is it only Punitive now that still sell them? I have tried a search and cant find any others..

dear all I have just been chatting to some new friends at my local munch; they had asked what my kinks were, I explained that some of which involve high & ballet heels, to which they commented on their jealousy that I have a pair of and can wear ballet heels! They mentioned that they were looking to buy a pair of pony hoof boots from Punitive Shoes. We descended into the discussion of the mechanics of the limited range of styles available........ which leads me to asking these questions; 1) Do you have pony hoof boots 2) If so, which maker; i'm thinking Punitive Shoes, Wildfire and Keysers (though I understand it is almost impossible to get hold of these) any others? 3) are they any good? comfort, fit etc 4) my perception of the Punitive Shoes pony boots is that your foot is not held in place particularly well because the ball of the foot has been tipped up thus ending up with bearing your weight through the end of your toes, without the ideal firm fitting that ballet heels provide; is this a fair comment? Your thoughts, comments & experiences are gratefully received. Richard

Geiger_Girl
My ex was a big fan of Kurt Geiger shoes as well; we have a KG shop in Nottingham and it was always a pleasure to go shopping there with her:smile:.
I bought these as her first pair before she afford to buy herself as she was still studying; http://redapples.sweell.com/?imagepopup=1/20060321-geiger_mary_jane_vernice_nera.jpg&width=500&height=354&imagetext=%28zoom%29&width=500&height=354&imagetext=%28zoom%29 she was completely in love with them and were the pair she'd wear most often but I have a horrible feeling she has got rid of them after our break up;they were not in the collection when I went round to the house to pick up the last of my stuff which saddens me greatly:mecry:
I still drop in to KG see what they have, especially in the sales, though the prettiest shoes are never seemingly available in the sale in the larger size, so i've as yet not bought myself a pair:sad:.
Looking forward to seeing the collection.
Richard
PS, love the ones so far

Witchhunter / all
I am possibly about to make your day at a price!
I have found an Australian vendor that has a LIMITED stock of LSB shoes and boots; http://www.shoecraft.com.au/
If you go to; http://www.shoecraft.com.au/hm_fetishfootwear.html the page explains who they supply, including LSB.
If you go to the Ballet tab to the left of the pages, the Z3 & Z4 are LSB boot references; I hope you can find something to suit your desires BUT you are going to pay through the nose for the privilege! probably about 3 times the original purchase price!
I love the look of the images used for Ableman Trading but don't seem to have any of the gorgeous T bars left; dang!

Now that is one sweet pair of boots...........I've only ever gone for black before but my god, it's almost worth buying a whole new outfit just to suit a pink pair.
Richard -
Oh they are cute; worth the chase? well only if they mean that much to you. I hope you do find a pair, all the best richard

Notice that bike? It's outfitted with racing handlebars and hand brakes yet it is a single-speed.
jmc
Ah, welcome to the weird world of fixed single speed cycling, also known as fixies. As you point out it is a racing bike but just to add to the fun there is no freewheel (you have to keep moving the pedals) oh and get this some only have a single brake! They've become all the rage in the UK as in many other western cities; frankly as a cross country (full suspension) cyclist, I'm afraid I don't see the point for most of the "fashionistas" urban cycling still needs a high level of control to avoid accidents.
They come from cycle couriers, who want an ultra lightweight, ultra low maintenance bike for work - which I get but why they have become fashionable for anyone else escapes me. The bubble already seems to have burst though as many people have had repeated accidents / found them to be too much hard work for a typical British urban setting.
Anyway, I'll step down off my soap box and get back to the heels.

Now that is a fantastic piece of "design". Lets face it up to this point "nearly" all shoes are essentially follow the same principles just with one or two variations that have been taken to extremes; heels, laces, turning into a crotch high boot etc. This completely throws existing concepts on their head - brilliant! chris100575, you're sort of right but just imagine these as an alternative pair of sandals, we may just see this concept adapted to a more high street design in the not to distant future.
