No Cali I didn't even look at it. I figured the whole thing as tongue-in-cheek variety of fun. I remember some years ago I had a bunch of people over and some wanted to see my can collection in the basement. Got some questions from some when my certificates, letters, awards, and medals were noticed partially under a sheet on another wall by two file cabinets. "Why hidden away down here?" I said why not they were only there so my family could see them. Never was one for personal recognition and yet I enjoyed bestowing honours upon those I supervised or otherwise associated with over the years. Like one friend says, "you have a licence plate saying "Salutes Veterans" even though you are one. Sure I say I already know that and that is enough. My word is my currency and my deeds are my awards. It has worked well for me so far. HappyinHeels

Cali,
That offer is classic!
SF,
Does my Orange County friend need a certificate to make the day go better?? Does this make you a "touchy + heely" guy??? I think the ultimate "certificate" of heel love would be a tattoo of your favourite style on an arm or leg. Now that would leave no doubt where you stand.....on your heels. HappyinHeels

Ah yes, I do know this kid. My view is if his current interest in heels comes anywhere close to that of general mechanics then the kid will become as fond of them as you. Small engines under repair in the garage and heels under the clothes in the closet. He is gifted in mechanics and I think this interest in heels may be curiosity at a very impressionable age as a result of seeing how much joy it gives you. It may pass or not but I doubt it will go away completely. Remember he's seen at least two dudes in heels now so there's a certain legitimacy to him. That's my take. I hope that helps. HinH

I'm not sure if the airline charges a modest fee for "deadheading" or not. I can remember when I flew space available on the MAC (Military Airlift Command) flights during my Navy days the fee was $10 when one was travelling in a leave status. Travelling on a C-130 is not luxurious but one cannot argue with the cost HinH

No Cali, you are NOT timid. That's why you're my bud!
As far as "feeling like the only one" the actual numbers may surprise you. I read some 30 years ago an estimated 3-5% of the male population in the United States was involved in crossdressing, including wearing heels, to some extent or another. This would equal roughly 4.75-8.1 million people in our country. Though the numbers would change the percentages in many EU countries is about the same. That is a lot of guys possibly wearing heels. It is the act of wearing them publicly that is quite the rarity. Our members write about their experiences feeling they are "weird" or "out of the norm" but they are but a tip of the proverbial iceberg. HappyniHeels

No, posting his email in the open would NOT be cool. Keeping people's stuff private, for example of members you have met, is important. If a member hasn't written about their specific town or city then one shouldn't publicise it. Email addresses or phone numbers or specific geographic information received via pm should be safeguarded. TBG can email those he's most interested in communicating with and vice-versa. HinH

CAT has quite the outfits for sure. Despite enormous problems in the rest of the city Chicago still has an immaculate downtown area full of people and activities. Though I live in a rural area 64 miles/102km northwest of the downtown area it doesn't take long to transform to a completely different world down there. I'm sure CAT was the venerable host. I have shown two sisters, a brother, and some friends around Chicago and all enjoyed the trips there. As I've said before meeting some of our forum members is a highly rewarding experience. HinH

Tina,
That's cool your boyfriend and you are keeping things interesting in SE Pennsylvania. I'm attending a nephew's wedding in Central PA next month and don't think I'll see anything quite that interesting. If I head towards Philadelphia I'll start looking for matching heels. HinH

It really isn't Cali's nails or the colour that adorns them this week or next. It really isn't the wedge sandals he wears to this meeting or that. It really isn't the best-looking legs on the Central California Coast. No, it's Cali's CONFIDENCE which blankets all he does and wears that has these women complimenting him. That confidence is the energy fueling the blast furnace of the individual as he forges his own personal path. That's why it works and that's how it can work for so many of us. One only need try. I'm surely glad he does. HappyinHeels

All,
I was curious about this issue so I messaged Tech about it. TBG was never banned from this site. He voluntarily chose to leave. I may have confused his post total of 10000 with someone else but he did have an unbelievable number of views as well. He can (and should) come back if only someone will email him to do so. So let's not opine or speculate anymore about it as I have received a sufficient explanation. HinH

Because they are waiting for feet to adorn and because we are alive to enjoy them. Now get out there and scale your favourite mountain in the heels of your choice! HinH

I too enjoyed his material. Replacing someone with over 10000 posts and 250000 views is a tall order indeed but that's the sizeable contribution he had. I had intended to get an email from him and then he just wasn't here anymore. HinH

Holy smokes you got me beat! I have 255 acres of ancestral land at my Dad's family farm in Quebec, 40 acres in far northern Wisconsin, two acres with our house and one acre near Flagstaff, AZ. That's cool stuff! I'm curious which kind of cattle you have. HinH

plng74,
You said you like driving around on the ranch? I didn't see that one coming! How many acres? Any structures, fences?? If it doesn't have fences in Texas it ain't no ranch or so I understand . HinH

Cali,
Great story Cali! I have a pair of JS sandals with a chunkier heel which make a distinct sound on pavement as the bottoms are wood. They are featured in my album. I never tire reading your experiences. Keep striding and writing my friend HappyinHeels
