I have had two guys compliment me like this, very gratifying indeed

I only remember one compliment from a guy. He said he needed a pair of the heeled timberlands I was wearing.

Just if anyone’s interested I’ve been doing a bit of research on Jimmy Choo’s and they seem to have done collaborations etc in June before but so far they have only gone up to a eu45. I found a page on their website where there are a couple of extended size styles and these also top out at eu45. They do convert on their website as a uk12 but I’d be doubtful about ordering a pair as most eu45’s I’ve tried in the past have been more like a uk10/11.

Yea, you might be SOL if you are outside the range of sizes they are willing to make for a few token sales.

Awesome, I’ll check out Italianheels and have a browse for Jimmy choo’s. Think I struck out last time I looked for JC’s though, nothing bigger than a 43 iirc

Ooh this is sounding positive then! If you don’t mind me asking, how long has it been since you ordered from them and what kind of lead time was there?

Ah I didn’t realise that onlymakers went up so big. I have tried some 15us on as they were the biggest on Amazon at the time but they seemed to run small and didn’t fit 😔

Oh and as gorgeous as those boots are Mike unfortunately I can’t open that website

Might have to wait till June when the corporations cater to LGBTQ groups.

Don't worry if hers are nicer or not. Simply, should the 2 of you go long term you'll outlast her in heels. Men have actually better feet for high heels believe it or not. She'll stop wearing them well before you do.

Happy couple heeling. I'm a lone wolf, my wife can't wear heels even if she wanted to.

It is not about endurance. @kneehighswill always get more attention for the fact of the heels, but if his partner has better heels, she can still shine. :)

Or just always match to wear the exact same shoes, then you will both know when it's time to take a break.

I am guessing that you mean that in your size, those inch translations are the actual measured heel height. It is pretty amazing that you have supplied some information that I have been trying to find for years without success, and that is, "What is the actual heel height of nominal 120mm shoes, such as So Kate, Anouk, et al., in size 40?" I can only assume that you're somewhere close to a size 40.

I knew in my heart of hearts that my Steve Madden "Daisie" pumps, though right at 120mm, did not rise quite literally to the level of the So Kate, which is the shoe they're obviously trying to imitate. I admire your aspiration, but I don't think I'm ever going to get there myself.

Yup, 40. I noticed my 100mm Cole Haans measure 100mm at the back highest point of where the heel meets the shoe, and my Jimmy Choo’s are 100mm in the center of the heel.

Here are the JC on left and CH on right, both listed as 100mm.

  6. So, today I hit two florida malls, spending about 3 hours shopping wearing my 85mm (actually 3-3/4") JC pumps. I was feeling it by the time I was done shopping, so switched to a pair of 4.5" for hanging around the house. My goal is to get proficient in the 120mm (5.25") heels so we can go to an event or dinner while walking normally at least.

I didnt follow the score, but I'm gonna guess heel height went up or down depending on who was leading at the end of each quarter? :D

  8. Yea, I've had my periods where I take a break from heels, then have to get my endurance back. Currently trying to give my 120mm heels a fair shot to see if I can get to where I can wear them in public. Right now they are still an at home shoe.

I used to do it years ago and really enjoyed it but I need my confidence back.... Attached a picture of what I'm wearing... Yes I know not very daring at all but it is for me

Going in public while crossing gender norms still takes courage. Hopefully your outings give you the confidence to push further boundaries.

  10. So, turns out these are nearly brand new. Almost no wear on the sole’s, so plenty of life left in them. One aspect of the ankle strap I didn’t think of was that they hold your ankle in standing heel position when not standing, much like boots do. I am not complaining.

The shoes presented here are very unlikely to offend anyone, but neither are they likely to really excite anyone. Somehow or other, these slipped through the cracks when I first got them as far as posting them here, so technically they are not new shoes, even to me.

We have some round toed Cole Haan pumps in size 9 with a 4 1/2" heel and a 5/8" platform, netting an effective steepness of 3 7/8". Which makes them very easy to wear and live with. The heel itself is 3/4" thick and the one nod to complication or flash is that the heel does feature a snakeskin printed covering, which I believe is actual leather. I've no idea what these went for when they were new, but they appear to be all-leather, including the sole. I paid a whopping $26 for them, plus shipping.

I didn't actually step out of them when I wore them the other day, even wearing hosiery, but it's a dodgy proposition. I could see where it could happen. Worn barefoot, this problem does not exist.

I recently got a pair of those, but the heel is sorta an alligator look. Have not fallen in love with them but they are comfortable.

I just ordered a pair of Jimmy Choo’s off Therealreal. I’ve been very happy with the comfort of JC, and the 80% off msrp of TRR.
