  1. Not really panicking, but in the past I have been mocked, yelled at, pointed at and laughed at, which is why I'm surprised that so much healing drew so little attention. Of course this all happened in other countries. Especially London have been bad.

I remember you saying you had strange looks at the hotel you were staying at. This was when I meet you at a heel meet a couple of years ago.

  2. I just ordered these 101's yesterday. They are patent and were on Ebay for $40 plus $9 shipping with "make offer". I first offered something unreasonable, like $9 or something. Offer was of course denied with a message that read $36 was as low as they would go. I later offered $11 with that being rejected. They were still listed for a while and then I offered $30 yesterday, which was accepted.

I,m not a big fan of mules but those look alright and I think you paid about the right price for them.

  3. The shoes that squeaks looks good in the photos bit look cheap which I got them. I would of keep them had the shoe not squeaked and sold them on at a later date. As for the other shoes. Look good when I tried them on, fit reasonable well but going to be a lot of trouble for me to get them repaired so back to the seller they go. I had a close look at the strap and there appears to no stitching on it, just held together by glue.

  4. Bought two pairs of heels off Ebay. Both pairs as new, one with tags. First pair, the ones with tags. The right shoe squeaks as I walk and I can see nothing wrong the shoe. This pair are being returned to the seller. The other pair. Model Caly from Faith. These are slingbacks, but with twin straps that cross over on the heel. The straps are attached to the main body of the shoe by a piece of elastic. The strap has come away from the piece of elastic. The seller said I could have a refund of £10 or send them back. Not sure what to do at the moment. Is it worth having them repaired? or just send them back?

  5. I would not wear pink heels myself. I also don't like bows on my shoes either. If other men want to wear pink heels then that be fine by me. Who am I to judge what someone else wears.

  6. Platforms are nice but only when the plateau/heel difference is big enough. A 3" heel with "attached" 4" plateau has a height of 7" - but looks really ugly.

But if it's "high heel" - 5-7" plus plateau height, it will look beautiful!

I agree with you here. I seem to buy most heels now with a 0.5" to 1.0" platform but the full height of the heel being around 5". I find a small platform help make the shoe more comfortable when walking.
