The series is still going as of May 13th, and someone has also posted it under "For Everyone"

The stiletto platforms were my favorites for years, but I have moved to the mini-platforms instead of the 2-inchers because they are much more stable and less worry on uneven ground. I gave away all my tall platforms.

See the video comparing pumps from Christian Louboutin at $600 vs. Payless at $20.

None of the Shareapic links work for me. They all say "Image can not be located."

Does anyone know where the term "mule" came from and are they the same as slides? Whatever, my favorites also.

Try looking for Pleaser shoes - some of their styles go to women's 16. ShoesUSA also does large sizes, and they are very generously sized, but much more expensive than Pleaser, and better quality.

Glad to see Maya has a store again. I have only been to see her once since losing the wife 7 1/2 years ago. We used to visit her fairly often.

Women wear them with masculine clothing, so why can't men? Because it's OK for women to look masculine but not for men to look feminine? Bah!

Not a female, but I think they are great. I tend to think they might look even better with shorts instead of over the jeans. I would be afraid of turning an ankle in those platforms, myself, as I have done it before.

I think they are fine. No problems and usually quick service.

Looks like a lot of newspaper writers and editors have a high heel fetish. Why else would they spend all that space on Posh's feet and shoes? All that concentration and critical comments may be meant to show that they don't have a heel obsession, when it is obvious that they do or they wouldn't keep on about it.

It seems to me that the available shoes in large sizes are decreasing. It is hard to find mini platforms over U.S. size 12, and many are only up to 10. There are plenty of tall platforms, but not for me any more. Other than Pleaser, no one seems to sell large sizes very much. Fredericks only goes up to 10 or 11 in many of their shoes, whereas they used to carry them up to 14.

Gee, everybody hates it! I thought it was entertaining. Not a very good way to find a clear picture of everything they make, but different, and different is not boring.

Pink shirts are not uncommon, and a fellow I used to work with wore pink suits! And he was an executive, though not at the top. Pretty wild.

One of the main things that was nicer in the old days was that there were fewer people, so it wasn't so crowded, there was more open country, and one could get away from it all much more easily. It is very difficult to get away from people in Southern California, with a hundred plus miles of urbanization from San Diego to Los Angeles and east. I used to be able to drive out into the country and wear my heels out and around. Today there is no open country within reach.

I picked out and bought many of my wife's clothes, because I knew what she looked good wearing. We always went shopping together, so it was easy.

The first one could be two girls, based just on the photo on the screen.

That must be our Micha, who hasn't been heard from recently.

I reproduced this from the You Tube thread, as I thought the first one, especially, was outstanding for her high heel boots, but no one commented.
Here are links to two Kellie Pickler music videos:
"Best Days of Your Life": Scroll down to the video taken at the 2008 CMA Awards - Kellie in high heeled knee boots and short black dress. Amazing!

Don't You Know You're Beautiful: There are many versions of this on You Tube - this is one taken at the Opry in Nashville. Not a lot of views but you can see her very high-heeled sandals once in a while.

This strip was posted in "For the guys" last week. I think it is great, though not everyone sees it in the papers they read. It is getting lots of exposure, anyway, and is humorous without ridiculing the guys.
