Why not just go to a shoestore and compare the heel of a small shoe with a large shoe?

Cheap shoes can certainly look nice and have cool designs, but I can't really stand my feet getting sweaty in plastic shoes. It has to be leather, and that makes the price go up. It doesn't nessecerily have to be fancy designer brand shoes, but definatly somewhere between "cheap" and "luxury".

Here is some constructive critisism for the Elite-heels website: 1. For every product, list materials for upper, lining and sole. 2. State the range of heel heights between the smallest and largest size you offer. 3. Look at zappos.com and how many pictures they use to display each pair of shoes, and from which angles. Then do the same!

I thought that when I looked at the pictures, but in the flesh, I promise you they were. I think it's where the picture goes blurry, it loses the thinnest part of the heel.

You're letting your imagination run wild... Take a look a some 6 inch heels at elite-heels for example, and then look at the last pic you posted. I rest my case.

To me if some one is gay or not is thier buisness, and if they want to have a parade then fine if I choose not whatch it then that my choice. In my post about the encounter at the auto dealer with the 3 female sales consultants based on their remarks I think that the picture in their mind of men in heels is that picture Heelma posted and that I beleve hurts our cause to show that men can wear heels and look nice not all goofy like ones in that picture.

But it's not the same thing! They are dragqueens, not "men in heels". And I think they look a lot less goofy than most "men in heels" I've seen on these forums.

Frankly speaking, I wonder if those folks who are gay and dress up like this on these CSD parades really do this frequently or only for this event?

Those are drag queens. They dress as women for shows, balls, and parties, very rarely for everyday life. And they probably don't give a crap about your "cause". They are not striving for public acceptance of men wearing heels, so why would they?

Interesting, I recently held a workshop at a queer feminst cultural festival here in Stockholm, about how to walk in high heels. It was fun.

The shoes are great, but although Pantera is fantastic in her ability to wear such heels, it's not as exciting as the Ballerinas video. To me that is.

Designers rarely make shoes higher than 5 inches without a platform.

Here is a similar shoe by Versace, it is described as having a 5 inch heel and a .75 inch platform.
