Louboutin got the idea before a fashion show when he saw his assistant pait her nails red, he borrowed her nail polish and painted the soles of his shoes red manually.

In my opinion most of the so called 'haute couture' designer shoes are a con.
Many are hideous and they are all vastly over-priced, so in a lot of cases, money triumphs over common sense when buying these things. Christian Louboutin is one of the worst offenders - if I wanted to walk down the street with brightly coloured bricks on my feet - I would go to the local Builder's Merchants' for them - and a can of paint. As for Jimmy Choo - well - he obviously believes that women have cocktail sticks on the ends of their feet, not toes.
In my opinion you don't really know what you're talking about.

For those that decide to judge us how come they dont judge the guys that wear their pants sagging to their knees? That was discovered in jail for easy access for the guys having sex there, would they be considered weird or gay?
what's your source on this?

Are you as good (proficient, talented and as well trained) as Trolldeg?
No.

This is more to do with the weight distribution in the body - women have more weight at the top and in the centre of their bodies, as their breasts are larger than men's
Men generally have wider chests/broader shoulders than women, and not all women have large breasts.
Besides, I belive the reasons for the differences in walking is more social than biological.

it's not the quantity that counts, it's the quality.

She said it to me last weekend whilst we were having tea & cucumber sandwiches at her place.
I doubt it, since she never has said it.

Mariah not an idiot? Well let's just agree to differ on that score.
Here's one of her 'intelligent' quotations for you to cut out & keep:-
"Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry.
I mean I'd love to be skinny like that but not with all those flies and death and stuff."
Have you actually heard her say that? Or did you just read it somewhere and automatically assumed it was true?

I agree. Some platforms do look good but more often than not a stilletto will win every time.
There is no conflict between a stiletto and a platform, a shoe can have both.

Knee high, black suede, lace up Alaïa boots, with 5" heels.

Maybe I'm in the wrong forum for this, because it's actually not shoes this time.. I've found my dream bag on ebay US, and the seller only ships to the US (free shipping though), so I was wondering if anyone was willing to help me out and recieve the bag for me, and then send it on to me? All expenses paid for by me of course, and I'll make it worth your while. Thanx!

Anyone care to post any pictures of such attire...?
Why don't you start?

That's what I'd call a boring design.

Those aren't ballet boots. Those are "just" huge platforms, with the top part of the bootie "blown up" with some decoration. Look how the models walk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-bHdKABy-4
Ballet boot walking looks differently.
He never said that they were ballet boots, just that they were inspired by them.

She was wearing the most sexy strappy 5 inch + heels without platforms, & her feet looked amazing in them & were on show for a lot of the program.
What color were they?

Could have fooled me, by the length of your post...
Now, wich ones of these Louboutins would you describe as "brightly coloured bricks"??

As for Jimmy Choo, I've never had any problem fitting my toes into a pair.
