What's wrong with most of those shoes is that the heel looks like it's not part of the shoe. It looks like some wierd appendix/extension that doesn't fit in with the symmetry of the rest of the shoe.

methinks Ellen's inability to walk in heels is greatly exaggerate. It's hard to believe that, even though she appears to wear noting but slacks, sweaters, shirts and tennis shoes, she's never worn heels before -- afterall, she did have a life as a female before she adopted her manish manner of dress and her lesbian sexuality became widely known .

On the other hand patent leather is really a polymer that is applied to a substrate. Often the substrate is so cheap (would you believe cardboard?) that the object has no real integrity at all. So the things look great - for a while, but then they start to fall apart of their own accord. The old saying still goes - you get what you pay for. Good, high quality leather products will cost more, but they're worth so much more.

No, patent leather is leather coated with a glossy material, today most often plastic. But it's still real leather underneath.

still doesn't point me to these heels. I googled "real star", "beautiful-high-heels-heaven" and got no hits. When I google "elite heels", I find the web site, but there is no mention in that site for "beautiful-high-heels-heaven" or "real star", nor is there any mention of these heels, or a picture of them.

So, I guess I must be doing something wrong, or maybe I really can't read. Please, Trolldeg, show me where I am going wrong?
