1 wear size 7uk my foot is approximately 9 inches long. 4 inch heels are comfy and I can walk normally. So the same heel height in a size 5 would create a steeper angle, making wearing them like someone with a larger shoe size wearing a higher heel.

Once the initial nerves are over come it gets easier each time. Especially when you don't get bad reactions.

If you prefer shoes to boots a nice pair of black shoes would work well too.

I had thought they could be from Evans, but didn't recognise the logo. Thanks for confirming that. I tried jeans tucked inside the boots and they fit ok round my leg, so I can wear them either under jeans or over jeans.

I like all of those especially the 1st pair.

Nice encounter with sales staff. They are there to help customers and make sales. The fact you are a man buying women's shoes shouldn't matter. As its halloween I would have thought you might go with Elphaba (the wicked witch, black boots), but thats your choice.

Would have been better if the shoes weren't too small for him.

The toe box is low cut. I saw this pair a while ago and was usure if I should buy them or not. I'm glad I did get them before they sold out.hh4evr1, I think "Pair 4 Primark two tone courts" are my favourites. The line of the vamp is quite square across the toes which sometimes makes me a little hesitant, but sometimes that can look rather stylish with a foot in the shoe.

Most women in their 50's wouldn't wear mini skirts. They are seen more in younger women/girls. If you like wearing them and like the look of your complete outfit keep wearing them.

When I was young I remember one of my aunts used to wear classic black pointed stilettos with a 4" heel. This style is still my favourite and the first pair I brought for myself are this style.

I enjoyed wearing them and they were quite hidden under my jeans. Being thicker heels they could pass for mens boots.

I wore my New Look ladies ankle cowboy boots to work. I walked to work and didn't notice any looks etc from passers by. I was wearing slightly longer jeans and a shirt with my boots. Two managers were in for the afternoon to do the accounts. One noticed but said nothing. I'm not sure about the other. These are older ladies who unwilling to accept new things (computers and changes/improvements to how they work). I'm expecting to be told not to wear heels. Two ladies having coffee noticed and kept looking when I walked past. The children/teenagers came in after school for sweets etc, but I didn't see any reaction from them. Dance classes started and some of the mums may have noticed, but no obvious signs shown.
