I nowadays wear heels daily - but never at home. I suspect a lot of others wearing is at home more (which is ok - not as many crazy people as me out there)

That's what I'm trying to do. My second attempt actually.

I was in denial for about ten years. I knew I had to wear heels all the time but I didn't really want to think about it and I managed quite well to avoid situations where heels would be a no go.

My doctor had a serious talk to me abuot it and he gave me exercises i tried now and then over the last two years but it hurt so i didn't try very hard. Now I'm more serious about it and I can manage barefoot for an hour now before I start to bit my lip.

I was talking to someone alse about feeling like a clown when I'm not in heels, my feet are effectively twice as long as normal and I've been tripping over things. I'm going to stick at it this time though for sure :-)  There's no way I'm going out anywhere in flat shoes though not for the forseeable future. Too ugly!

  2. If you wear heels all the time for too long you can end up being forced to wear them by the simple fact that it hurts like hell if you don't.

It happened to me and I had to spend a long time doing painful stretching excercises until I could comfortably walk without heels even for an hour or two.

It still feels like I have big long clumsy clowns feet when I walk around without heels but at least I'm not forced to wear them in that way anymore.

You boys enjoy your fantasy and that's fine but having to deal with it as a day to day reality is different I can tell you.

I have always been fascinated by the athletic challenge of wearing heels. I have always admired dancers, acrobats, and the few girls in high school who could really walk well in heels (there was one girl who would demonstrate, from time to time, that she could do cartwheels in her 4 inch heels!).   I always wondered if I could do the same.
