HERE is a photo of a guy wearing stilettos as self posted on his flickr account.
I tried to right click to save the image, but it comes up as some type of "spaceball" image. Maybe some computer savvy genius here knows how to override that?
Hi Kneehighs.
Do a screen grab. On a PC you can press Print Screen and then immediately paste the grab into a program like photoshop and crop the image. On a mac you can use Preview or a free program Called Capture Me.
Regards
Ben

Yes it's me. No trickery, just a mirrored image. I was trying to make an 80s inspired image for my Facebook photo.

I'm a Graphic Designer and have a love of all things design. I have spoken to lots of designers from every design discipline there is and almost all have expressed a love of shoes from a design point of view. It makes sense when you consider that shoe design is basically sculpture, design and engineering.

I just found this on the 'Home Truths' archives on BBC Radio 4's website. It's a charming little interview with Gino and Spiros about their shoes.
It also reminded me what a wonderful character John Peel was.

I think it's worth remembering that even the most feminine woman would get lots of odd looks if she wore 6 inch hot pink sandals during the day time. I have always thought one should dress for the occasion. When I wear heels it's usually at night if they are really high. I always dress to integrate the heels properly. The last time I wore heels out I teamed them with some really skinny grey jeans, a red ruffled shirt and a really deep leather Japanese obi style dark brown belt. The shoes were black patent 5 inch high lace ups with a small platform. Standard men's shoes would not have worked with that look. It's all about balance and proportion. To me a man in baggy men's jeans and a polo shirt looks wrong if he wears heels. It looks as if he has a high heel fetish and can't be bothered to dress properly. It's just the same if a woman wears really high heels that don't go with her outfit. Warmest regards, Ben

It look like lots of the Dolcevita heels are bebe styles.

Hi Kneehighs. Yes I am a member of the Fashion Spot. It's an odd site. Not really that fashionable a place. Sadly won't be able to make the Heel Meet. Have lots of Valentines day plans and have to be honest and say I just wear heels whenever I like. I guess living in Brighton makes that easy. There are so many characters that a boy in heels that are properly styled into his outfit goes relatively unnoticed. All my friends know what I'm like and they are often more surprised to see me in 'boring' clothes. I can see how the heel meet might be fun for others but it's not my cup of tea. Good luck and heath to all that attend. If you have never worn heels in the street before, watch out for gaps in paving stones and the bumpy pavent stones to help blind people recognise road crossings. Warmest regards, Ben

I reckon the are by Bebe, possibly Chanel knockoffs. The shape looks the same as Bebe's current range.
Have look at their website. I didn't see the style you posted but others look to have the same heel and hidden platform shape.
Happy searching.

I'm a Uk 7 to 8. Totally happy with that. I have the same size as my girlfriend and we share most of our shoes. I love being able to walk into any shop and all the shoes will be available in my size. Ben

They look really similar to the ones I bought from Burlesque Blue via ebay.
