  1. Anita C., apprehension is understandable. Probably the best thing you could do is to talk with someone else who has had the same surgery. Check with your doctors or the hospital.

Anita C. and Dawn HH, I wish both of you a successfull surgery along with a speedy recovery. I will remember both of you in my prayers.

In the meantime, enjoy some humor at http://www.lawyer.ie/jokes.html

  2. From eleven to forty two? I don't see the connection.

The 7 oceans (what are they)

I only know of 5 oceans: Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic, Indian and Southern.

The Southern Ocean was recently identified a few years ago.

Are you thinking about Sinbad and the legend of the Seven Seas? Although there are more than seven seas in today's world, I don't know what seas are part of Sinbad's legend.

  3. ...I think the high heel posting has been done to death.

Probably every question has been answered and every conceivable topic discussed - I don't think there is much more to be said about heels really.

.....I think from a womans point of view the topic of heels here has been done to death. .....

Very good points. My postings have decreased as a result.

  4. ......So, that much being said -- has it occurred to anyone here that one of the reasons more women don't "stick around" this form is because they really don't "cotton" to the idea of men wearing high heels or other items of female clothing. Most women want their men to be men. They really enjoy being women and viewing men as the opposet sex -- without sharing their most intimate garments with them.

    Just a thought (observaton). :)

Sad to say, I have found this to be true even in crossdresser support chat rooms and online communities when I used to frequent them years ago.

  5. Laurieheels; Your article deals with all of the significant aspects that must be dealt with to learn how to wear high heels comfortably. 1. Working your way up gradually from lower heel heights. 2. Learning to balance with a smaller surface contact area. 3. Adjusting to new pressures on the feet. 4. Realizing that feet change in size throughout the day. When I purchased my first pair of 6" stiletto pumps, I had been used to wearing nothing over 3" at the time. So naturally when I slipped on the 6" pumps, I promptly fell over. I had broken rule 1 above. Today, although I now can wear 6" stilettoes, I don't wear them everyday. So there are a couple of things I need to do before slipping them on. Either I would perform some ankle stretching and bending exercises. Or I would wear 5" heels for a short time before I slip into the 6" pumps.

  6. These are reasons I have heard why women won't wear high heels: 1 - they are hard to maintain proper balance 2 - only prostitutes wear high heels ============================================ These are reasons I have heard why men won't wear high heels: 1 - you have to be gay to wear high heels 2 - you have to be a crossdresser to wear high heels 3 - you have to be mentally deviant to wear high heels

  7. I have completed a full check on my system and have found nothing.

I can only assume that McRegWiz is part of McAfee. com in turn part of McAfee internet security.

I think it is the registration wisard.

PJ do you McAfee installed on your computer?

    Jeff

I use the online version of McAfee so it's updated automatically (firewall and anti-virus). I suspect since the alert popped up simultaneously with the countdown graphic, I assumed it was malicious.

And as for spyware, I use Spy Sweeper software. At one time, I used Adaware, Spybot and Spy Sweeper. But when I would run Spy Sweeper after Adaware and Spybot, it would find things they missed.

  8. The first time I enountered the "hacked" graphic, it started a countdown from 10. I closed my browser's window at 7 and ran my online anti-virus program. It found no viruses. I then ran my anti-spyware program and found one suspect file (McRegWiz) that tried add itself to my startup registry. I promptly deleted it. Since this site was hacked without any apparent data destruction, that makes us very lucky. But now that a vulnerability has been identified, it must be corrected. Hackers have a tendency to spread news of intrusions and vulnerabilities to other hackers. And who knows how malicious the next attack may be?

  9. I started out appearing in public in deserted places at night. That helped build up my confidence. But after a while, the thrill diminished and I changed to areas that had people in a distance. In otherwords, people far enough away not to recognize me yet close enough to enhance the thrill. :) This has occasionally resulted in some "close calls". By that I mean some surprising close encounters or other form of acknowledgement (a shout, a wolf-whistle, etc.).

  10. ........I love my GF, but unfortunately I wasen't clever enough to tell her about my fasination of high heel on one of our first dates! (Don't think many guys do???)

We are in our 40's and have been together for 10 years, and I don't (think I) have a fetish, "just" a fasination!

    .........

Wow .... ten years together and no marriage commitment? If she nags you about it, then offer a compromise ..... wear heels and I'll marry you

I know a former co-worker who lived with his girlfriend over 10 years. They finally got married, then divorced 5 years later. Go figure .....

One thing you must take into account. When a person is very serious about not adopting some kind of practice, the more you try to convince them otherwise, the more upseting it can become.
