I wear high heels for only one reason, the thrill I feel when I role play. So it is a true fetish for me.

I wear women's high heels to bring out my feminine side when I want to role play. I enjoy escaping by being someone else for a while.

I own 6 inch spike heels, 6 inch spike heels with a 1" platform, and 5 inch spike heels. But I wear the 6 inch spikes the most when I dress.

I voted yes in this poll. And since Halloween is my favorite holiday, I use that as my opposite gender day.

Although I would enjoy working at a high heel store, I would prefer to be the owner.

I also prefer hoosiery to bare legs. They give an appearance of smoothness and uniformity. When I dress up, my legs look so much better in pantyhose.

While the loss of just about any human (except for Adolph Hitler and similar people like that) is tragic, I never could understand the severe levels of hero worhsip some people achieve. Yes Michael Jackson had mass appeal talent and he will be missed. As for his personal life, as long as he was law abiding, it does not interest me. Rest in peace Michael Jackson. Now let us move on.

When I first began to purchase my own pairs of stock high heels, pointed toes were the most common. But when I ordered my first pair of custom high heels, I selected a semi-pointed toe because it was not as long as pointed toe shoes and made the feet look smaller. Once I tried them on, they were so extremely comfortable to wear that I became a semi-pointed toe, or round toe lover right then and there.

Also, don't the British refer to females as "birds"?

Belated birthday greetings. I stopped celebrating my birthday years ago. Just lost interest.

I just realized that all of my male shoes are black or white and all of my heels are all black or white. What a coincidence.

It depends on how I'm dressed. As a female, it's steel tips. As a male, it's rubber tips.

JohnCinheels has spent so much time wearing high heels that he has developed altitude sickness that affected his brain, resulting in lying about himself as well as the previous person.

I know very little about Muslims and the Quran. Can anyone explain to me just how militant Muslims interpret the Quran in order to justify the violent methods terrorists are using against their enemies? From what I have read in the media, the Quran supposedly forbids non-Muslims on Muslim land. Is this the justification?

After reading all of the comments here, I became concerned about my own situation. But then after reading this, I realized that I have a lot of company.

(who was expecting the obvious "high heel"?)
(wow, I'm post #5000 in this thread)

"Her" web site is quite unusual ..... full of links obsessed with Jenny McCarthy.

hmmm, seems like my GOZINTA got overlooked. Oh well ......
oh, and Emma, I love your definition of Gazintite. I think you should submit it to Meriam-Webster for insertion.

I was doing some research about The Family Feud television game show. Over the years, it had a few hosts. One of them was Ray Combs who hosted the show between 1988 and 1994.
I just learned the following interesting fact about him:
Combs would tell contestants he liked their high-heel shoes, ask to try them on and walk around the set wearing them.
I only watched the show sporadically and never saw him wearing a contestant's high heels. Has anyone ever seen this?
I will scour the internet to see if a photo of this exists.

Clogs don't appeal to me. Without the rear heel support, I'd have a hard time keeping them on. I have the same problem with sandals.

Driving in 5" Heels
in For the guys
Posted
I have learned a couple of important things about driving with high heels. #1 - When driving without high heels, I apply pressure to the accelerator pedal by keeping my heel in contact with the floor, then bending my ankle so that the ball of my foot applies pressure on the pedal. As for the brake pedal, my foot is above the floor centered on the brake pedal as I push down with my leg. With 6 inch heels and no platform, I have a hard time accelerating since my foot is already extended as far as it can go because of the arch of the shoe. And when applying the brakes, I have to be careful I don't center the high arch over the brake pedal. #2 - With platforms, switching from the accelerator to the brake pedal quickly can be delayed if you don't take into account the thickness of the platform. Otherwise the platform will hit the side of the brake pedal as you try to switch to the brake pedal, thereby creating a delay.
