CAT : Personal question. You are out and about wearing the above outfits (Looks Great) where all the people around you can see your face . So, Why is your face cutoff in the above photos ? spikesmike
Great question Spikesmike! The simple answer is my kids. Although they completely know and have seen my apparel I do not wear these types of outfits around my home town. As we are all accepting of others on this site I would not have my kids be put in a bad situation due to my clothing choices. I do however wear leggings and boots and there have been some comments. They would definitely get grilled for a skirt and heels. I do leave my house dressed and head to the city but there is always a chance of running into someone from home, but that has not happened in 7 years. So blocking or cropping out the head in the pics is just to protect my kids from any harassment as anything can be found on the internet. A while ago I left my house dressed up stopped at the dentist and then met Pebblesf for dinner in the city and had a great evening.

if anything, being a man who wears dresses in public as a man displays a special brand of machismo, after all, it takes colossal balls for a guy to parade around in the open in a dress, and make it look like it’s no big deal to boot.
Just saw this post from JeffB,,,Guess I fall into the colossal balls catogory too!!! LOL It is reall not that hard to do once you do it 1 time you can't get enough!

a friend of mine saw this photo and said: oh. i didn't know you do drag.
i replied: it isn't drag. its me, in authentic me mode. she said: you're wearing sky high heels, fish nets and a black mini skirt. that's drag!
kind of funny because i never saw myself as drag. so then i showed her a photo of me in my skin tight jeans and white high heels and said is this drag? [Innappropriate comments removed] and so the conversation went on in a different direction but it left me thinking about that statement of hers: you do drag.
nothing wrong with it, just never heard it put that way before. after all these years too!
I don't think of it as drag at all, I am out there dressed the same way as you in the pic and do not think that is classified as drag at all,,, I am sure some do but F them

Those look pretty awesome! I like the color and the laces on the back of the thigh. I like a mix of single soles and platforms. Depends on the mood the outing and the outfit. I have to get back in the saddle as I am starting to feel good enough to get the heels back on and get out for a walk. May not be like before when I could do hours but I will get there!!

Pernilla,
Those shoes are absolutely fabulous! What is more impressive is that your legs are perfectly straight in those killer heels. Many times I have seen pictures of people in that high of a heel and their legs are bent at the knees or they are sitting for the picture or even holding on to a wall, railing, or something so they don’t fall over.
You have awesome legs too!!!!CAT

Agreed. I have more women’s 7 for all Mankind and Express jeans and jeggings. The fit is better and they are much softer.

I have both single soles and platforms. I do like both. What drives which one to wear depends on the outfit. Leather miniskirt and fishnets 5 or 6” single sole is the heel of choice. Other longer skirts leggings, or jeans I will go to platforms with a 5-7” heel. Depends on the event or item as well.
I am a bit of a hiatus right now as I am doing physical therapy for my left knee total replacement and am heading to the right total knee replacement in 3 weeks. Hoping to be back in heels by May 1,,, that’s the goal at this point in time. Hoping to be in my 6” single soles again for the summer!!!

One ((bad) opportunity for reopening this subject
Today I had to fly from Paris( Orly,an airport I don’t like) fo Madrid.
Before boarding I bought a coffee and sat close to the counter I got it.
I heard a male voice at the coffee counter saying to his female coworker: “ the world is turning wrong side, look at the shoes of this guy!” She didn’t answer,or I didn’t heard. Then 5 minutes later he called a guy from the security, probably a friend of him( and same physical aspect) and said very loudly:” look at the shoes of that guy” Again I wasn’t able to hear the answer.
I didn’t move, did show any trouble, kept on reading my book after I had finished the coffee
Not a big deal. But for sure not encouraging because that kind of guys is now quite common in some places of Paris. Where I never go.
But that it is the first time is happens to me in an airport
So,yes sometimes wearing heels need courage!
the shoes were the ones you can see on the picture. Brown 14 block heels
I really like those heels !!!

I just don’t get why they would put shoes or boots out on males. I know absolutely no one male or female who would wear those or even where you would wear those. With fashion shows showing crap like that we males will never get any acceptance.
