Why are womens shoes so much more comfortable??? (I know someone will tell me they're not womens shoes etc. so we can skip that bit) Here's where I'm coming from.... My wife buys some mules (slides) and as is customary now lets me try them on (things are improving on the way to heel acceptance, one step at a time ) wow they are comfy. I decide to get some too, but wife says mens section only so we try some and they are all so awful to wear. I have tried different stores, styles etc. but they are all so uncomfortable. I even made my wife try the mens ones and she agrees the ones from the ladies section are much nicer to wear. Anyone know why ???? Shyguy doomed to discomfort in low heel slides

My wife takes a 7Uk and I'm an 8 UK. Most of her shoes/boots fit me a little snugly but she bought a pair of size 6 boots from one store which fitted me perfectly and her ok too, go figure. Shyguy

I too have a very shortlist black 4" stiletto pumps and black 4" stiletto calf boots Shyguy

I agree YamYam I'm overjoyed with my little girl. My wife bought 3 girls with her too and I love them all. Babies are time wasters, I can spend all day just watching our new addition and resisting the urge to pick her up every few minutes Thanks everyone for sharing in my happiness Shyguy

my wife has some almost identical shoes, and they are so comfy When she bought them home I was just staring, then she said "go on then try them on" Unusual for her to say it, so I took the opportunity . Altho size 7 UK and I'm an 8 they slid on and felt so good. They are some of the nicest shoes I've worn, but I can't have them cos "they don't do them for men". Enjoy them Shyguy

no, ocassionaly tolerates this "fetish" in a dutiful wife kinda way but that's as far as we go towards acceptance. Mostly discouraging tho.

So it's not just me then I used to stay at an aunts place when I was around 12 or 13, often for whole weekends. She always wore high heels and had lots of shoes around, I would have the run of the house, but mostly spent many happy hours trying on her wedge sandals, and especially the stiletto's. These things stay with us too don't they, I can't resist a peek if someone leaves their door open and some shoes on display

When the front bumper of your car is crunched because you were watching someones heels. (been too close for comfort at times anyway)

I'm with Linsey, HH pumps would be my first choice.

Black, Red then white but black is definitely first.

This subject reminded me of a news story a few years ago about the Japanese when they latched onto Madonna. All the teenagers were dressing just like Madonna even the guys. They always seem to do things to the max. And why not?

I once plucked up enough courage to buy some heels in a local shop. I was very self concious, but at the end I walked out with a pair of stilettoes which fitted. The assistant didn't bat an eyelid. Admittedly I haven't bought a pair since then in a shop.

I'm a size 8UK but can usually wear my wifes size 7's without too much discomfort. She even has a size 6 boot which fits me and is very comfortable. Sizes seem very vague wouldn't you say

Over reaction and it would be stooping to the low level he is at too. Proves nothing if you beat him, proves everything if you're big enough to front up and show his words can't hurt or change your views. Shyguy
