  1. i have a pain of buffalos wedge sneakers in black and i am wearing them wboth with boot cut jeans as well as skinniers pairs with the jeans rolled up and going in to the sneaker...they are comfy and if styled well the result is a sleek cool look.from what i have seen so far, the stares (rare) were more on the curious side (from girls, guys seem not to notice at all..)i think i made a good buy and i am thinking of getting a pair of mike or puma wedge sneakers

  2. these wedge booties by rick owens are really the pair ofwedges i woukd loe to buy and wear... high, with platform but not feminine.youreally got yourself a good deal to get them for 220 bucks...as far as styilng them, i think you look good with the long jeans and i guess this is the way to go unless you want to show part of the boot.i have a pair of ankle wedge booties of about the same height and my feet would look small with long jeans too.

  3. Great advice Heelster! I'm going to wear what makes me happy. I look amazing in lululemons, and they are very comfortable. Not with heels though, just lifting weights and running. That's what they are meant for anyway!

if you are fit/ muscular you surely look good in yoga pants/ lululemons ir whatever you call them....I see guys in my gyms wearing them, as long as you do not have a tatoo on your lower back I gues it is ok (but even then, if you are cool with...who cares)

personally, I always work out in tight shorts, sometimes I also work out in some sort of what you call lululemon and nobody is making fun (ever) especially what I do my heavy squats or deadlifts...

enjoy the work out and lift the iron...

  4. these sneakres are really nice!! I am thinkg of getting a pair too but I am not sure sarenza holland will ship to italy...I like the back pair especially I guess that's a good match you made, you could try with rolling up the jeans a little bit and have the shoe stand out more...that's how I style my buffalos ans so far so good I can say... Yesterday afternoon I was shopping with my wife in the city center and went in and out from several shops, it was quite fun actually...I guess I spotted some girls here and there taking a look down but now I think I was actually happy about it.... :nervous: It all come down to confidence as some other people pointed out...

  5. I have heeled in Italy myself. The people there are a lot cooler with it than they let on. They will ask you a lot of questions about it though.

I guess it would depend on where you were...and maybe, I say maybe, because you are a foreigner....

But I am happy for you in any case.

  6. well, I tell you my first real heeling with the buffalos I wrote about in my previous post...I think it is worth sharing. I have to say that I live in Italy the so called "country of fashion" but not the most open minded place on earth... Last saturday I decided to give a try and went out for some errands in town with my wife. I went in first place to take a sunbed so I headed to the beauty salon where the girls at the front desk I thought would tend to be careful about details but nothing happened. There were some other ladies but no one really cared. Second place was the supermarket and actually everything went quite smoothly (even my wife told me that she did not see any people staring at me in a strange way or else...), I just happened to see a lady probably in her 60's who took a quick look at my shoes, but it looked like she could not care. Funny thing was that at a certain moment I was standing in the line at the deli and I realized that right behind me there was a couple (guy + girl) that were probably commenting on my outfit (leather black jacket, hooded zip sweatshirt, tight but not skinny jeans - I could not wear them - and the shoes)..I was laughing between myself as I was walking away to tell this story to my wife. This first experience actually gave me some confidence because not only I pulled out a look that would fit my type (I do not have the easiest shape for heels: 95 kgs gym rat) and I actually look forward to go out at night with these buffalos. P.S. the mustang shoes are very nice and I like them even more because I am a fan and an owner of the car itself.

  7. I just got today my buffalo wedge sneakers, buffalo 2208 Men model but it is called also Gigerwa on spartoo for those of you that are in Europe. I paid € 132 with ups shipping included and they arrived in 4 days. I only could get them in size 41 (Europe) and have no problem in general expect for the fact that they are a little small on the base but I guess this is because it is the women's design.... While purchasing I showed to my wife and she said nothnig, today I showed them to her while wearing them and she actually liked them and did not know/ notice the wedge until I told her and even after that she said that these looked ok compared to some other wedge boots I have... Today I styled them with some bootcut jeans just to be safe and they are ok (expect maybe for the fact that the feet seem a little shorter but no big deal...), but I will try with some tighter jeans in the next days. By the way if you are into wedge trainers/ sneakers, I found this site which migh surely be of interest: www.wedgetrainers.com

  8. I wore my Lita Jeffrey Campbell glitter boots to the movies with my girlfriend and afterward went to Applebee's got a couple laughs I didn't really blink an eyelid for anyone who laughed or had anything to say. That day was a good day!!!

    you got the lita's??

    i really like those shoes!!!

    how do you match them??

let me know more about your heeling experience :wavey:

  9. Was going through some old photos and come across a picture of my brother in laws first wedding photo from about 1973/4. Those are some serious platform sole shoes!!!

    yes they are!!!

it is strange how difficult would be nowadays in the real world, but back then it seemed something normal..

  10. Your choice. I sympathise to a certain extent, and I think a lot of males are more reluctant to commit themselves to a relationship than females are because they're afraid of losing their freedom.

Just don't be surprised, though, if after all your resolve you meet someone who will cause you to moderate your thoughts!

very true..you can never tell what life will have for you...

  11. I found a best way to include the pics. Here are the ones that missed. I am wearing the first leather booties on the left.

Did you have the idea to browse in the mens rack ?

you made a good point.."browsing in the mens rack"...

whenever it is possible..because some of these style you cannot find anywhere..

at least here in italy (strange but true..)

  12. frankly speaking..all of them anytime maybe the goth pair just to go out but all the other can go with pretty much a moder/ semi formal outfit like for example jeans + shirt + jacket..matched in the same color of course...:smile:
