i like this look a lot!Wasn't really focusing on fashion today. But I took this (and edited it) before I left today.
I'm wearing
Blue V-neck from American Eagle
Black Athletic Pants from Ross
Women's Xhilaration 3" embedded wedge High Tops
Very comfy outfit to say the least, It doesn't look too bad right?
sporty and easy but with the extra heel..

my wife knows about this forum and she is ok with it. i do actually tell her from time to time if i read about a particular event or story ..she totally loves heels and i am her best advisor and ever since i told her about my higher interest in heels , thanks to this forum she did accetp this side more easily

i am very curious about the details making the overall look. women tend to be very good at that...matching the right colors etc...
-
i would actually like to try them on to see how they feel....

interesting development for you....

I actually think the quality is decent. Even if it's not for the comfort, walking on an extra inch is more fun anyways!
tryed then out in public for some hours yesterday and they felt ok and comfortable, my wife said that they even look good and that one cannot tell about the heel, just an out of the ordinary pair of sneakers but no big deal if compared to what you see in the streets

do they have the damsels in 11's?? i love those wedges but would not know how to style them...
-
i like the same type of boot but in black patent...very sexy i guess this is not a commercial style but rather a stripper style so you would have to look for it on internet

I own the same ones in brown-white, but I found them a little too low. They just felt like they were shaped wrong. I solved this by folding toilet paper and adding around 2 cm/ 1 inch of paper to the back of the shoe. I then put a regular shoe sole on top of it and it fitted perfectly! Do you find them comfortable the way they are or do you experience the same problem as me?
I just have tried them a little a home when they arrived, but I could say they seem to be ok...
Maybe the quality is not top notch (but guess where they are from..) if compared to the buffalos which you can tell have a better quality..
I agree with you on the fact that they are not too high, they wrote heel about 8,5 cm but I guess that is maybe 6 or so...I was expecting steadier incline but I guess I will like them..
I will let you know about comfort as soon as I wear them a little more...

I have two pairs of the nikes. Check back to page two, have worn them to the inlaws as well as around family without issue. One friend teased me for not wearing heels while i was wearing them.
yes, I remeber the picture you posted and commented..that's why i got interested in the nikes too...
I was wondering if you could get us some feedback about comfort or else..
by the way, I got these today:

I was even so lucky to find them in size EU 42 so they make a good alternative to the buffalos

has anybody bought a pair of nike skyhigh dunk? i would be interested into getting somefeedback to know if they are comfy and how you can get away with them...

are you rocking litas when dancing??Depends on which ones you work the dance floor the best. Most females tell me i work them better than they do that always makes me laugh. Its very flattering.

next step would be heeling underwater

i like them very much and personally I really like platforms in general (not really sure for which reason but they have that something....)
-
congrats!! a good example, I thinks it is very interesting

I wore my Puma MY-66 trainersout in London yesterday evening and received a compliment on them from a lady, who went on to ask if they wear wedge trainers - so they aren't that stealthy! I also managed to take some pictures of me in them in a shop mirror (attached below).
Also we appear to have two threads discussing the same thing. Could the mods mearge them?
could be because of the jeans?? maybe if you had a wider end...OR put them inside the shoe (if the shoe allows for this...)
in any case I would not say they are very obvious....

this fluevog is really cool and has some interesting styles, too bad that €/$ exchange now is less favorable for us in europe...

thank you patsy, i will check those sites

first of all thanks a lot everybody for the wise suggestions... luckily things are going smoothly so far, keeping my fingers crossed. all the points you stated are very true so i am making up my mind now, altough i am positive about her liking the daffys..i will let you know how i will sort this thing out
-
thanks!I know Patsy is building a pretty good collection and she'd certainly be an excellent resource insofar as wearability of the Daff is concerned. As for me, as much as I love the Daff, I would suggest considering the Bianca, Pigalle or the Decollette. All three are classic designs that should always be in style. Congrats on the nerw addition to your family!!!

I need a suggestion for this crucial issue... my wife is giving birth to our baby in mid october and I am planning in getting her a super present.. she does not like jewels that much but is totally shoe crazy...I am actually her best advisor on shoes purchases as we always go shoe shopping together. I would like to get her a pair of daffodiles so that when she will come back home from the hospital, put aside the baby, I will have the present for her on display.. BUT my crucial issue is: is this model an everlasting one OR it is a tredny shoe now because of the celebs wearing them and all the hype with it??? Since they cost quite a bit I would really like to get her a "shoe present" that will last for some time and will not be outfashioned in a couple of years from now... what do you all think?? thanks for the advice ciao

remember that it is never too late to develope some fashion sense and work your style...maybe in some years you wil be a fashion addict :
Anyone Go Out In Heels On Purpose?

interesting subject... I just did few heelings with my wedge booties because I would not fell too comfortable with the looks I would probably attract, I know this is not the best attitude to have but I guess I still have to work it out... luckily I fell in love with the wedge sneakers and got a couple of "discreet" pairs. now I enjoy styling them and I wear them whenever I can.....shopping, car washing, night out, etc etc...
