Hello, I am new here and browsed all the pages on this forum, but I do not see anything on heel protectors. What do you do to protect the heels of your high heels? I have seen SoulMates, Heels Above, IdealHeel, and Smart Heel sold online but they all fall short or look less than sleek on. Smart Heels do not protect the bottom and have that horrible fin/flap. SoulMates are stumpy and very homely, though not as bad as those Heels Above. The best seems to be IdealHeel, but they are still pretty thick. They do protect the bottom from wear (I walk over a long strech of cement from building to building when I go to class) and the sides from scratches but they seem to stick out too much. Is there anything that works, and is a DIY project? Or does anyone have experience with these types of projects? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Hello all! I was psyched to find this site--not many people I meet are as in to heels as I am. Go figure, I'm around lots of professed shoe-a-holics. Oh well. I am looking forward to swapping care tips and loving heels with all you heels placers.
