i have been in shopping malls with smooth slick tile floors, with metal heel tips u have to walk with smaller steps trying to not let your heel move till your toes hit the deck, very tiering, but fun. later nhoj62

hmmm well i don't like the oxfords the stitching an round toe puts me off i like the first pair of boots nice thin heel, long pointy toe and good strappy detail up the shaft of the boot. the second pair of boots are ok but not for me the colour of the boot and heel make it cowboy like an i don't like that. later nhoj62

mskim61 yeah i got addicted a couple of years ago i like mostly boots thigh high, overknee, and knee high. tho i do have some shoes now as well. i probably have over fifty pairs. tho i can't get any at the mo cause i have no money due to being unemployed, an i only have a part time job which just covers the bills, leaves no room for boot buying. later nhoj62

hi guys i have a pair of devious ballet thigh high boots, i like these boots alot but the heel seems to long by about half an inch so i can't stand knees straight in them my ankle an lower leg are inline but because the boots tip me forward i can't stand straight, so i took the boots to my local cobbler today to see if he could shorten the heel, and he could not because the metal shaft in the heel is to thick and the hole to tip goes into is not very deep, so would have to be redrilled for a new tip if heel is shortend, and my cobbler does not have to equipment to do this. so i guess my question is does anyone have the tools an know how to shorten the heel for me?. dr.shoe do u think achilles could do this for me? please let me know. thanks guys later nhoj62

if i'm buying on the high street the most i would spend is about £120. which is wot i spent on a pair of overknee boots from faith. tho if they are custom made for me then i would spend more than that. later nhoj62

i don't mind a little bit of discomfort providing it is not to bad, because u can put up with it without doing hard, i have a pair of boots i got from faith that look wicked but after about an hour of wearing become killers an i have to take then off, were as others i have i can wear all day or all nite and they are great, no disconmfort at all. so the comfortable ones get worn an i go out in them the ones which give abitof discomfort just get worn round the house. anyone else work it this way?. later nhoj62
