  1. Ok my two cents. While I am not a big fan of the thigh high boots (Don't like on women or men Sorry) If you where going to wear those then the 2nd picture looks fine. What I don't think you should do is wear the first pair of boots with your pants tucked in. I feel if you are going to wear those boots like you are saying then wear you pants over top of them. If you are want to show off the boots that's fine, and trust me you will once you sit down everyone will be able to see them. Too me and its kind of hard to tell but I think those would look great with a pair of boot cut jeans or a skirt (if that's your thing) but not tucked into pants. Just my 2 cents.

I was thinking of leaving those jeans and going with my skinny jeans.Had another look at the picture and it doesnt look to good than the other ones.Im considering getting another pait of jeans.Slightly looser than the skinny ones.

I've decided to go with the knee boots that can flip over and be thigh boots.Start of with knee high, see how it goes and then flip them over.

Ronniheels, weatehr here is getting colder so Im all good :) As Im looking out the window now its very misty and looks damn cold.

  2. Thanks all, your comments gives me courage :) The boots Im thinking of wearing would be one of the two in frist picture.Ill keep my pleaser thigh boots for later,I dont want to shock her to death with the pleaser ones :).

  3. I decided to make this thread for me as I dont want to hijack other people's threads :) Ill post my outings worthy of posting here and ask for a few fashion tips.(Hope thats fine dev team, dont want to cross any lines)

Comming Friday a girl friend and I will be getting coffee. We had a chat the other night and she mentioned she loves Louboutin's heels,I agreed and said they are beautifull. So on we went, talked about his heels, showed a few photos of what we like etc.

Long story short I told her I wear boots.Hehe I think she thought I crossdress,I told her I wear them as a man in man clothing and she said thats fine. She is open minded, likes some mens clothing, mens sneakers etc.

So I told her lets go for coffee Friday and I can show her, meaning Ill wear boots with mens clothing.

Now where I need some fashion advice/tips.

Im going to wear my boots over my jeans.Refer to the pictures:Im considering the over the knee boot 4" heel, with either a hoodie and white shirt(shirt showing out on bottom of hoodie),or white shirt and leather jacket. Now its just coffee so I dont want to look to fancy :)

    The boots,jeans,hoodie

    leather jacket I talked about

    What do you guys think?

  4. I only drive automatic now Sweetie. I stopped buying manual cars about 10 years ago.

    Thats pretty boring :)

I've had enough problem with automatic cars and really missed the manuals.Drove a manual in South Africa, moved here and got automatic.Real boring hehe.

I agree that you have more feel and control with the pedals in single sole shoes,be it womens or mens.Ill hav e a drive and post an update on it.

  5. Thanks for the advice. When I have time during the uni exams Ill drive somewhere quite and practise.Driving with heels in my auto was easy. The manual might be slightly different.Pussyinboots I dont know how you can manage 6inches single sole lol.I really admire people that can walk and drive in those heels. Not for me :)

  6. Thanks CPB and sleekheels.I realy couldnt believe that find. And great thing is winter is just starting. So Ill be wearing boots a lot when going out.Or Ill try haha. I like both styles, but the pointy ones will draw more attention but the less shiny boots feels little less femine but I like both boots :)

  7. I feel like a special or sale person.Sure as a job I am a sales person but I always seem to shop the sales/specials :)

Bought these today at $60NZD.They are down from $140.For that price I could not say no.Had a good chat with the sales girl as I tried them on,walked around asked for some fashion tips and left with the boots.Very pleased with myself after being depressed about uni and car problems :)

Sorry for the bad quality, there wasnt enough non-artificial light.Boots are 4" thigh boots, but can flip down to knee high.

  8. 4 pairs.I love boots more than pumps etc.

Would someone please tell me what these styles are?had a look on websites but cant realy figure out what the heel styles are.

  9. And please do not have a go at Amanda, she is expressing a personal view and is entitled to do so. If you don't like her view then offer a suitable polite response. She clearly loves heels, has clear defined views and comes across as a confident and feisty lady. In my opinion I'm very happy to have that kind of girl contributing to the forum.

I relish the challenge of convincing her a man in heels could be the macho man of her dreams.

    :)

I agree.Didnt mean for my post to be a personal attack in any way.It couldve gotten worse and I felt like I needed to jump in before it got worse if it did.Every one has a valid opinion, and like you say Foxyheels,if you dont agree respond in a polite manner :)

Jarod I dont have a lot of advice as I've never been engaged but I do get a lot of advice from my dad and that is, both parties must talk things out so both can be happy. My dad has made a lot of sacrifices to keep my mom happy,he is happy with her and loves her but he feels that its not right for him to sacrifice almost everything that will make him happy,as example certain cars, sports, gadgets , to keep her happy.I agree with him. When you marry you become one,so both needs to make sacrifices for each other to be happy with each other.

Good luck with this endeavour of yours

  10. Lets not start making personal attacks please people. These posts are supposed to help people not attack them.Everyone has their own valid opinions.Yes in the old days women were looked down upon,I feel thats wrong.Women are just as important in life as men.Amanda I can undersand how you feel, heels have always been part of womens domain but but some of us men have a love for heels like the ladys and want to be,not part as women but part of the heel community :) I say that because I love heels and only wear heels lol So please lets keep the attacks to a none and just have decent conversations :)

  11. Congrats zebra. Its places and people like that that makes shoe shopping and wearing heels comfortable. Two weeks ago when I tried on boots the store was very quite, except as soon as I had the 1st boot on the store immediately filled with school kids and women.Decided stuff this,Im not gona struggle with one boot on to the back Ill stay there lol.It gets easier every time, thats all I can say.

  12. I like sitting in the mall drink coffee and just watch people.Ive seen a lot of weird people and some nice heels. Usually business women with 4 inch heels and a few girls in wedges. Hehe I think I might have made a few people think who is this girl with heels and then they see me and just hear the heel sounds under my jeans  Think Im the only man wearing heels in public here lol

  13. A good read and inspiring as always.Looks like you had a good day out.Unfortunately circumstances here doesnt let me wear my thigh boots openly a lot.Too many people that knows me and my parents, and they know of nothing lol.So enjoy it for my sake too

  14. I agree with roni. Dressing skanky as a man youd need to wear skirts with fishnet stockings.Mens clothng dont look skanky, well non that Ive seen so far. I for example dont wear skirts or very tight clothing, dont like tight clothing even mens clothes thats tight.I dont want to offend anyone here so please dont take this the wrong way,I dont like seeing guys in dresses or skirts so I dont hope that more and more men will dress skanky in public :D. If heels were to become a trend for men,Id incorporate it into my normal fashion choices as Roni said.Might make a few changes.I wear jeans a lot.So Id need to get different clothing etc lol. Just my thoughts on this

  15. 2 weeks ago I wore my 3.5inch I think stack heel boots to get my hair cut.Was a nice experience, after the hair cut I asked the lady, also South African and we get along nicely, what she thought of my boots. She was cool about it and loved my boots hehe.So needless to say Im going back there in heels again.

  16. Wow, love the ruched effect with the straps crossing over, the buckles and fur trim detailing, and the overall look is very cute and funky. Great that you found them just as the NZ winter is approaching. Enjoy, and I hope you get lots of positive reactions wearing them. (And what a cool sales assistant too).

very nice boots stormclaw! i'm jealous

are they really fuzzy inside or is that just a fuzzy detail at the top?

    Larry

I know right, the whole look attracted me.The straps, buckles, trim on the top.The heel is very nice and solid, 5inches with a 1.5inch platform.

Weird1,its just the top thats fuzzy, the inside is normal material. Its still warm,so no cold feet in the winter :D

Well Ill wear them under my jeans for a while, depending on how I feel I might wear them outside my jeans.Ill head back to the shop to show them off for the assistant lol.

  17. Yesterday before my test I had some time to kill so I went to the mall close to the university and went into my favorite shoe shop.Had a look around and found a pair of boots at a very good price.Down to NZD$79.

    http://www.hannahs.co.nz/OurShoes/tabid/124/p/BRUM-BE/ProductID/4793/Default.aspx

Asked the assistant if I could see a size 10,tried them on right there. She was very friendly and helpfull.Had a chat about burining on the feet, and she showed me some gel pads that she uses on her heels.Wow what a nice feeling to have been able to talk to someone face to face about heels

  18. Safest place, your house. But most comfortable place in public to heel at Id agree with a few guys here.Places with people around, and try going with friends if your friends know about your heeling.Makes it a lot easier, especially trying to go about as if nothing is wrong. All I can say is good luck with your outings, just keep going out,it'll get easier with time

  19. What a big contrast between both pictures !

Picture 1: Maybe next time with shorter jeans just to show a "little bit" of heels ?

What did your friend say when he saw you wearing these boots ?

Reason why I wore those jeans is to hide them

If I want to show them off I'll wear them like in picture 2.

He didnt say much at first.Asked him what he thought,"they are very pointy haha".Other than that he wasn't botherd at all.Its my other friend who's uncomfortable.I wear all my boots under jeans to hide them, but a decent eye will be able to tell they are boots.

  20. Well daniel thats how i think its going to be now.We wont talk about heels in specific but still mention a lady in beautiful heels.I get what you guys are saying about the group. Will try it sometime, but until then Ill keep with more subtle boots.See if he gets used to it or not.

Thats what I had on last night, with the boots underneath.

    http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab7/serunox/Boots%20and%20Heels/IMAG0068.jpg

This is how I showed up at my other friends' house, took him by suprise haha but he was cool with it.
