  1. I like those, you have good taste in heels. I have seen a similar pair on eBay, as I imagine you have as well, without the peep-toe. These here you're looking for look nicer though.

Have you posted in the "heels wanted" forum?

    Wish I could help.

  2. All she has to do is not buy them for her kid(s). Why does she have to get all bent out of shape(?)

I agree with "Shafted" and "maninpumps".

I also understand why parents would want to wait for a later age for their kid(s) to wear high heels out and about.

    Thanks for posting.

  3. Yes they are exactly 6 inches, no platform. Why do you ask?

Was just curious. Sometimes shoes with 6" heels, the heels might be slightly higher in larger sizes. I think those are more of the high heels you can order from China.
  4. My situation is, perhaps, a bit different than a lot of you because my GF knows about my parttime job DJing at a bar for Drag Queen Bingo night. At first she thought I must "mental" for wanting to punish myself by standing in heels all night, but over time it became so common place about the only time she mentions me wearing heels is when we're shopping and she might say "those are some sexy shoes, you should wear them next week" or something to that effect.

    That is awesome!
  5. Sounds like a blast of an adventure!

How high are the heels in the "Screen Shot" picture? Those look very hot!

Not a big fan of the boots though, but still cool.

I once wore my 8" platform-heels with the 4.25" platforms for 12 hours straight around the house. There was not much of different surfaces to walk on and I got to sit down whenever for however long. It felt weird taking them off and left the bottom of my feet a little dark, not much though. I really enjoyed it!

    Thanks for sharing.

  6. Yes pretty much... Almond Toe is sort of the middle ground between pointed toe and round toe. Similar to the shape of an almond nut: its semi pointed on one end, and an elongated round shape on the other end, so I would say an almond toe shoe is right within that range.

This page shows a good example of the shoes you could call almond toe I suppose, some are pointier than others: http://www.myshoes.com/trend/almond-toe

So my blue high heels, as seen under "My high heels" under "For Everyone" are most likely almond-toe?
  7. I remember trying on some heels of my g'mothers and some of my mom's. I remember a pair of green pumps my g'mother had that were, best I can remember, about 4 to 5 inches (no platform). And there was a gold colored pair like the green pair with about the same size heel. I took/snuck the green pair at least once from their house, back home with my parents (I was about 14), and then returned them on the next visit. I just loved those green ones a whole lot.

It was more out of curiosity than anything and it just felt so good wearing them. It was just something about the shape of the shoe and how it felt wearing and trying to walk in them. My mom had low "granny heels" that I did wear a lot when I was home alone.

  8. Almond-toe is very similiar to round-toe? I just searched in Google images.

I left it open with "other". I was going to put square/flat. I just wanted to put the 3 most known/popular for high heels. I suppose almond-toe is becoming more popular now.

  9. Just pictures of my high heels. DO NOT worry, no hairy legs, lol. Just pictures of the shoes.

The blue ones are 5.5" with a 1.5" platform; my favorite to wear and walk in.

The ballet are of course 8" and the only pair that I bought used at a real great price.

The boots are 7.5" with a 4" platform.

    The red heels are 6.75".

The black platforms are 8" with a 4.25" platform.

The black Ellies are 6.5" with a 2" platform.

The white platforms are 7" with a 2.5" platform.

The black Dominas are 5.5"; these are perhaps my 2nd most favorite to wear.

All are U.S. size 9 except for the red Hollywood heels, those are size 10.

Thank you for looking and voting.
