  1. If it was me, I'd get the size nine if that's what I usually wear. I had a red pair in a size 9 and they were just a bit too tight. I also have the Ellie 8261 in a size 10, and am surprised how comfortable they are given the height and being a single sole shoe.

    I'm a mens 7-1/2 or 8 depending - -

You said that you "had a red pair". Did you get rid of them because they were too tight?

Also, was the heel a real 6 inches?

    Thank you.

I am at 7.5 to 8 in men's size as well.
  3. Does anyone own a pair of Ellie pumps like the ones in the pictures?

I know that with these kinds of heels sometimes you want to get a size higher if no half-sizes are available.

I have a pair of "Hollywood Heels" that look like these Ellies that I ordered in size 10 and there is no problem. There is a bit more room in them than I particularly desired, but I still like them.

    Should I go size 10 (U.S.) if I normally wear a size 9?

I would not mind a snug little fit either.

    Thank you.

  4. Does anyone have fond memories from these back in the good old days ?

For those of you who were too young to remember, what do you think of this type of style ?

I would like to hear your feedback. Thanks.

I kind of dig those, though I was not born until '82.

    I would give them about a 7.5 on a scale from 1-10.

    Thanks for posting.

  5. Does anybody own a pair of these boots?

Once again a poll, yes. I really like polls and high heels.

The ad on Ebay describes them as a 5.5" platform. The heel height looks as if it would be about 7-8 inches. Does anyone know for sure. I have messaged the seller about the heel height with no response yet. It really does not matter though.

    Thanks for voting.

  6. I know that there are a many shoe size conversion charts online and everything, but some are different. I was wondering if anyone here has experience ordering high heels from another country that has different shoe sizes. I have never done such.

Women size 9 U.S. is either U.K.'s 6.5 or 7. I am pretty sure that in the end there is no real big difference.

    Thanks

  7. There is a thread thing in the "for the girls" forum about trousers, nothing about shoes/high heels at all. I started a topic in the "for the guys" about utilikilts sometime ago and it got removed soon there after. I'm going to see how long the one about trousers stays on.
  8. My current wife thinks that I look "hot" in heels, whether it be my platform boots, or the peep-toe mules I just ordered a few weeks ago. She is the only person, as far as family and personal friends, that knows I love wearing high heels. She pretty much likes me in any of the high heels I own.

(On a side note: I really appreciate this site and everyone's advice and all)
