  1. Most of those aren't nice to look at at all! Except for a few of the block heeled ones... We don't need the opposite to happen though, I quite enjoy looking through the shoe section of a shop surrounded by females. Adds to the thrill a little!

I agree completely. There is something thrilling about looking through the women's shoes, especially when the men's shoes are on the other side of the store.
  2. I cannot recall exactly what it was that "pushed" me from viewing to participating. Interesting post though.

I will say, however, about when I see a woman walk in stilettos at least, oh let's say, at least four inches or higher is amazing to watch. I really love that little, what I call, "balance catch". That is of course when she steps down on her heel there is that little wobble (not a wobble of losing one's balance) and then firm. That always gets my attention.

  3. Up by 5,

I sure hope you do pay Bakers a visit since their one-on-one service is great no matter a chick or a dude and they seem genuinely happy to see you return. If you order in the store the order will ship to your house and not to the store. They use Fedex throughout the country. You have a store there in Richmond so I'd go there for the personal touch and try on what they have left. Many times individual store will have shoes in sizes not listed on the website or styles removed from the site altogether. That's another reason to go in-person and try them on. A good fit, a good salesgirl, and a good purchase all guaranteed in one. Most store have plenty of clearance sandals and wedges left it is just a matter of which sizes. Tell us how your trip there turns out! If you wear any kind of heel at all then your experience will be that much more enjoyable.

I visited bakersshoes.com; very nice looking heels.
  4. I said No as I'm driving in my 4" Pleaser Vanity 434 any time I'm driving alone or with my GF. No platform. See pic attached.

Driving distance is not a problem anymore. Can drive without any discomort or stress as the first time. But lowering my points as it is auto.

If I'll get higher heels (5-7") will definitly try driving.

Hint to you: wear female sox, it will ease a fit and improve the feeling.

That is still pretty cool. I was thinking about wearing some thin socks, but decided to go bare. However, next time will be with some thin socks.

  5. If I had the support of my Mrs., then it would be no. But sometimes I wish I could go back to looking, and even then it was infrequent looking. Now when I go out I notice most all of the ladies heels, keeping an eye out for my favorite styles. I enjoy wearing, and am getting pretty good at walking in heels. Her negative reaction to me wearing is always going to put a crease in the way I feel about wearing, and the fact that I now own two pair in secret is always in the back of my mind. I really want to get more, but I can't see how it would work out. I guess a confrontation is inevitable. I want to hear her offer to wear heels, but its not going to happen.

I wish your Mrs. supported you. There is nothing quite like that.

Best of luck to you. And if you ever need anyone to talk/write about it, we are all here for you.

  6. I drove in high heels for the first time a few nights ago. It was just over 3.7 miles in my manual-shift truck in my 5.5" Dominas. The clutching to shift was a bit tricky. I stopped in a parking lot and walked around for a little bit. I do not wear heels in public, unless walking around a little in a dark (semi lighted) secluded parking lot counts.

So who has driven in high heels?

    Manual-shift or automatic?

    How high of heels?

    Platform?

    How far?

  7. Hello Everyone,

I've been absent from this site for a while but that doesn't mean that I stopped wearinurantg heels. As some of you may recall; I travel weekly to various job sites and 90% of it is in heels. All time away from the work site is in heels. This includes Hotels, Restaurants and even shopping. I am attaching a pic of how I spent the evening at the hotel lounge and restaurant last night.

Have a good day everyone and keep on heeling.

    Henri

I have those, I'm pretty sure exact, same high heels, mine are 5.5" heel.

    Those are nice looking.

  8. They are by Kobi Levi and he makes some incredible art shoes.

They are supposed to make us think.

Saying that I think the Bubble Gum heels are some of his ugliest creations.

I like his whimsical thinking. Check out the attached lipstick heels!

    That is cool looking.
  9. 1. How old have you been, when you got your first heels? 18 2. What was the reason (i.e. special event like carneval/ halloween; because you lost a bet; because you felt in love for them) I lived alone in the dorm of my first duty station and I just bought my first pair. 3. Who paid the bill? I paid 4. How much did you spend? I cannot remember exactly. 5. How and where did you buy? (retailer: grabbed and paid or tried them on; mail order company/ online; etc.) I bought them at Wal-Mart. 6. Were you allowed to wear them at home (i.e. after of that special purpose)? Yes I was!

  10. Those are some nice looking heels.

On a side note about posting pictures. I take a normal picture with my cell phone, email it to myself, and then download the attached picture to my net-book. I always have to go to my downloads and turn the pictures right side up because they are downloaded side-ways for whatever reason.
