...and, as always, my new avatar is me. Photo taken by a colleague of mine - I liked the composition very much, did some post-processing [sharpening, channel mixing into monochrome image], and I'm fond of the result

I found it recently at High Heels for Men blog,
http://highheelspassion.blogspot.com/2010/08/man-in-high-heels.html
What can I say?
I think that le mademoiselle looks excellent!
I'm impressed - especially by the first picture. Great length coordination, elegance, class, good matching of garment lengths and materials, awesome silhouette... and the legs many women would kill to have. I'm fond of the photo, despite the fact that I'd crop it to remove the fragments of a couch and picture. Or, even better, I'd use wider angle... the interior seems arranged with good taste and worth photographing as well.
As for the second one, I like it for the obvious deathrocker / old-school goth aesthetics, and many of you know that I'm into the scene .

Thank you all

-> hh4ever1 Nice and stylish pair, and I like these curvaceous heels
-
Not my thing, I wouldn't wear them except for fancy-dress parties, festivals, performances or other occassions where I'd practice some hardcore fashion experimenting. I like something classy and stylish, especially if it looks androgynous.

...a veiled hat will do the thing very well. And this feel of being mysterious!

227 pairs of boots ranging from little ankle boots to thigh length Ballet heels.
Ages range from original Vintage '60's, '70's and '80's to brand new from High Steet stores and Online shops.
Now THAT is impressive.

Your Raw Score is: 565, which indicates that overall you are Feminine Your appearance is Androgynous Your brain processes are mostly that of a Androgynous person. You appear to socialize in a feminine manner. You believe you have major conflicts about your gender identity. You indicated you were born Male. ANALYSIS:Male to Female Transsexual, who is a serious candidate for Gender Reassignment Surgery NOTES: Your answers indicate you have altered your physical appearance to look like the opposite sex. In my opinion, the result is a bit too fem... I don't feel that I'm TS, and I'm perfectly OK with my genitals. I just wish I had more delicate features, sweated less or not at all, and had no body hair. And having breasts and broad vocal scale [from basso profondo to soprano] might be great

I've got two pairs of 'ordinary' cowboys, one with 2.5" heel and another with 1.5" or so. Apart from that, I've got a pair of low-heel knee-high boots, and recently restyled Clarks boots. They used to have stilletto heels, but I think that such a style of heel is sensible only for the height of 4" or more at size 43EU / UK9... I replaced the heels with cowboy ones. The effect of modifications is shown below.
Also, I've made a pair of spurs. How? See http://elegantandrogyne.deviantart.com/#/d2uq2zk

No its not, its "a pair of feet in some shoes"... lol
...you hit a nail on the head with this one
-
Well, I think I'd wear one shoe / boot with a heel lower than 2", and another shoe with a higher oneWhat happens if you're bisexual?

I don't limit myself fo heels; I also like male formal shoes or boots, e.g. cowboys. The only real 'necessary condition' is that these shoes/boots look stylish.

She is not a he, she is a heshe like me

Sexuality is an intrinsic part of our make up (no pun intended)
For some of us, it's exactly the opposite!

Fashion / aesthetic preferrences affecting sexual orientation? Hogwash. One can at the most discover the truth about herself / himself. I've had a thing for both men and women since puberty or even earlier, and the first 'real' coming-out, both to myself and to others, was when I was 19 and began studying. Now I think I was born quite androgynous [with respect to gender identity, not biological sex]

Some pairs behind my sofa, some of them inside...

I bought a pair of low heel masculine oxfords [traitor! off with his head! ].
-
They were quite happy with 3 shots of me in my long leather coat, spiky knee-high boots tucked into women's leather jeans, and an androgyneously patterned t-shirt, topped off with a hat from a gentlemans hatters that cost more than the rest of the ensemble !
Definitely my kind of look
-
I certainly would; no one would catch me dead in heels without an outfit stylish enough!

Yes, there was. Once upon a time I walked down the street in a fake fur coat and knee-high cowboy boots, and some scruffy bum was hitting on me, he tried to invite me 'to the tea' and lick my boots. I went into a cobbler's where I had my high heel oxfords fixed, but when I went out, he found and stalked me. Fortunately, I managed to escape. I don't care if he really was a shoe fetishist, he was anything but attractive and this encounter WAS creepy.

Uh, is the left one pierced with the other's heel? Or, perhaps, said heel is broken?
