I've never got blisters from wearing heels, but corns are quite a problem, so I use pumice and gel cushions.
-
My highest heels are 4.5" ankle boots - a recent second-hand bargain.

I care about what I want to wear AND how I look like, so all garments, hair, boots / shoes, makeup and nail polish must go well together. My personal view about fashion is that it's a form of art, its function is to express my feeling and aesthetic preferrences rathen than to impres other people. So, I should be the only person to decide what I want to wear.

I'm not into such flats at all, but wearing boots over your pants is OK. I've already noticed some guys wearing mid-calf or knee-high boots over jeans in Poland, so I hope that the trend will catch on.

Welcome, and enjoy your stay!

Right now, I've got balls to wear my heels out and about without hiding anything.
-
Right now it's cold, so I prefer knee-high boots - but my footwear of choice is oxfords or ankle boots.

It's OK that the idea of male unbifurcated garments in Western culture is getting more and more popular. The designs weren't bad, but weren't exceptional too, and I didn't like very long slits in several skirts because they may let the underwear show. BTW, some models look really handsome .

I wore my heels for a first time on New Year's Eve 2006/07, and I remember that a heel came off a boot when I stomped on a balloon to pierce it for fun . My feet were killing me because I had no gel cushions. Good that I carried my heels in a bag and changed at the venue, instead of wearing them all the time.

Today I had balls to wear my heels out loud and proud, and went to several shops I had problem visiting because of shyness: a leatherwear shop, a sex shop and a cobbler. Some positive reactions and no negative ones - I was so confident that I looked straight into chavs' eyes and they didn't react at all. Hah! Only one youngster laughed at me, but stopped immediately when I threw him a glance. I went to a thrift store and bought myself a pair of 4.5" blade heel square toe leather ankle boots for a ridiculous 1PLN [ca $0.3]. Whoa, these boots are surely killers... They are very snug, but comfortable. BTW, I'll boast about my purchases for a while and say that I bought a tailcoat and a vest yesterday. I've always wanted to have one!

The pants go very well with your boots, but in my opinion they could be tigher in thigh area and wider at the bottom.

Hogtie, Denmark:
BTW. This thread IMO belongs in fetish section...

Today, I went for neutral / show-off with my 3" Edwardian-like knee high boots. I wore them fully exposed over my leather pants, with an over-the-knee shearling coat and a "women's" hat with a bow. Many compliments followed, some usual giggles from local chavs too. I don't care a bit about the latter. BTW. I've bought myself a tailcoat in a thrift store. It's wonderful!

For me, too.

Very humorous and poetic

I wear my black leather underbust corset, as well as heels, to gothic concerts / parties - with great results.

Exactly. Face [excl. eyebrows], armpits and intimate areas are the only places I shave instead of epilating.

The guy looks good in heels, way to go! What irritated me was the laugh track and "Pretty Woman" melody in context. I hate it when movie makers blatantly tell watchers what their reaction is supposed to be like. Anyway, some people's facial expressions made me laugh out loud!

There's no male / female classification of shoe sizes in EU, but there are still discrepancies: some "42's" are made for 26cm foot length, others can fit 28.5cm. Heck, I've got a pair of boots sized 41 and they fit me like a glove. I didn't have to take them to a cobbler at all!

Take a glance at Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", starring Johnny Depp. He's wearing 1" or 2" boots - not much, but still heels. Anyway, Depp in Burton's movies makes a fine example of steampunk / gothic fashion.

Body hair...

Good: Bought myself a pair of 3" knee high boots, a leather corset, some cosmetics. Got way better at applying make-up. Went to a big dark independent culture festival, and some smaller gothic rock concerts / parties. Made some steps towards becoming a feminist activist rather than just a theorist. Bad: Didn't wear my heels too often; limited myself only to parties...

You mean, like Joy Division, Bauhaus or early Dead Can Dance?SEVERE COLD WAVE TO HIT EUROPE

"The Orphanage" is one of the films that scared me most. I strongly recommend it unless you have weak nerves.

I wear my thick heel boots on ice, they're a bit harder to manage on slippery surfaces but I still wear them with pleasure .
