Now that's what I call street-heeling!
-
Yup, the first thing I notice about a woman is her shoe's. The sexier they look, the more difficult it is for me to stop stealing glances at them.
-
I have no idea what you just said right now...
-
I am going to wear them for halloween at the mall and see how good I can pass it off.
Just the other day, I was giving some thought to going to work in drag for Holloween. I couldn't stop thinking about all of the questions I'd know I'd get asked about how it is I can walk so well in spikes.
LOL!

There's a girl friend of me and my wife that was at home to have some conversation. She is lesbian and 44 years old, have a girfried that is our friend too. I decided to tell her about me and high heels, since she is lesbian she should be very open minded. But I didn't have a good response from her. She said that it is a kind of "neurosis" and she would not support any boyfriend in case of she would be heterosexual.
Gotta love the double standard there... Gays continue striving for equality while she considers a man's fondness for heels a "neurosis".

The second pair that you showed in your pic will need to be swapped around so that you get them on the right feet.
Nah... he can just start a new trend - cross-legged walking!
-
Count on it! ;D

Any of you wear the same size as your girfriend/wife?
My wife and I both wear a 10 - a detail I forgot when I started rebuilding my collection recently.
:: snicker ::
A funny bit of irony though - she wears wide width, I wear regular.
Unfortunately, she can't wear heels (bad knees), so I get to have all the fun.

As for the "other styles" list, I'm partial to the lace up Babydoll pump. I just wish the heels weren't so damn thick; and that round toe has got to go. Either point it, or open it.

From Fredericks of Hollywood. My black pair will be here on the 18th.

I think that the only thing more daring than wearing shoes in public is buying them used. I don't care how much you sanitize them before even handling them for the first time... blech...! Personally, they have to be new or I ain't buyin' 'em! I like the straps on the pair you got, but I'm not crazy about round toes.

My 10's have arrived, and they are so much more comfortable than the 11's! They're nice and snug, but aren't so small that I can't easily wear them around the house. The heel of my foot even lines up with the back of the shoe, and I can actually feel the satin backing that supports the straps. They're perfect!
Note to self: From now on, order size 10.
hehehe...
I'll post new pics later tonight.

I'm glad to hear that your wife has finally accepted you wearing heels.
Thanks. She is an incredible woman. I'm extremely fortunate to have the priveledge of sharing my life with her. Our 11th anniversary is the 29th.

As your pics show, your new sandals appear to be a bit too big for your foot...
I figured as much...
I have read many times that if ordering a sandal you should order one size smaller because of the shape and design of the shoe.
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Suggestion...can you order another pair in a different size...
Done. My replacement size 10's should be here Wednesday.
...and maybe you could sell your existing ones to one of the board members here.
Nah, I'll just send these back.

Ok, here they are:
As great as they feel, I can't help wondering if they aren't just slightly too big. It's confusing because, according to every size conversion chart I've looked at online, a men's size 9 converts to a women's 11. I wear a 9 1/2 men's. I don't think there should be any space between the heel of my feet and the heel of these shoes. It's been so long that I don't remember.

I will always regret not taking advantage of the night I had a terrific opportunity to tell my wife about my fondness for wearing women's shoes. It was 12 years ago, while we were still engaged. She had just bought a pair of black ankle boots that had a 3" spike heel. She bought them to please me, because she knows how much I love women in heels. That night, I decided to have some fun with her by putting her boots and peach sweater on. We both laughed at me effectively being in drag. We decided to check out messages on some of the local computer bulletin board systems we frequented, but I hadn't removed her boots or sweaters yet. While surfing, she noticed how comfortable I looked wearing her clothes. She asked me I had anything I wanted to tell her, and I said no. Later, she commented on how incredibly sexy I looked wearing her clothes. 4 years later - 3 years into our marriage - I finally "confessed" about my shoes when she asked me about a shoe tag she had found for a pair of pumps I had secretly bought earlier that day. At first, she seemed ok with it, but then her natural insecurities and near-absent self-esteem started making her worry that I was secretly gay and was eventually going to leave her. It took me several months and a few visits to a marriage counselor to convince her of the contrary. She eventually grew to accept it, and has often even pointed out shoes she sees on TV or in catalogues that she thinks I might be interested in buying. From what little time I've spent here so far, it appears we have a lot of people who like to "street heel". Personally, I'm not at all into that. I much prefer wearing my heels in the privacy of my home. Thankfully, the attitude around here seems to be pretty welcoming whether you do street heel or not. On that note, welcome to the forum!

$60 is my limit, considering I only wear mine around the house.
-
How many of you wear your HH sandles out and about street heeling?
I never have, and never will. They're something I enjoy strictly in the privacy of my home.
-
Are you going to be wearing them out in public?
Nope, womens shoes are just something I enjoy wearing in the privacy of my home.
They arrived a few days ago. Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I want to take pictures while posing in them, or just take pics of the shoes themselves and post them. They fit beautifully, and are very comfortable!
Congrats on buying your very first pair of heels in a long time and like you say...it's great to be able to get into heels again.
Thanks.

A few days ago, I decided to rebuild my shoe collection after having thrown my old one out with some spring cleaning a few years ago. I ordered my first new pair of heels, and they arrived yesterday!
Starlet by Star Jones Satin Sparkle Ankle Tie
The 4" heel is significantly more comfortable than the 5" I used to wear. I can actually do stuff around the house without killing my feet!
LOL!
I may post a pic, once I get a pair of hose to wear them with. My favorite are Silk 'n Mist brand sheer white, ivory, or black hose.
It feels so good to wear womens shoes again...
I'm considering a pair of these for my next purchase. They're a 5" heel, but they're also too damn sexy to pass up.

Technically speaking, I've been here once before, but my visit was very short-lived. We'll just leave it at that.
I'm 34 (b-day was 9/20), 10 years married (11 next month) and have loved the look of women in heels for as long as I can remember (since childhood). I've always been partial to open-toe dress sandals, especially ankle-straps and ankle ties - and they have to be spike heels. There's something about dressy sandals on a woman that just exudes class, not to mention looking irresistably sexy.
I owned five pairs of heels up until a few years ago, when I decided to throw them out while doing some spring cleaning. As much as I loved them, wearing them around the house was just too taxing on my feet, and they wound up just sitting in my closet for months on end. They were all 5" stillettos - three pairs of sandals, a pair of pumps, and a pair of ankle boots. I wear a women size 11 (9 1/2 men).
I recently started contemplating rebuilding my small collection (and adding to it). After talking with my wife about it, I've decided to go for it. This time, I'm limiting myself to 4" spikes. I'm expecting the shorter heel will be much more comfortable. I ordered my first new pair of sandals a couple of days ago, from Payless. I saw them while browsing the site and immediately thought, "Oooooh... hello, lover..."
LOL!
I've apparently missed my collection more than I thought I did. I can't wait to try them on for the first time and feel those satin ties wrapped around my ankles.
hehehehe
Glad to see the site's still up and running. It's always nice to have like-minded people to chat with.
What started you to wear high heels?

It's been nearly two years since my last post here. I've been lurking quite a bit lately, ever since getting emailed about my birthday last month, and figured I'd jump back into the foray with this thread. My attraction to high heels began in childhood. My mother used to wear a lot of pumps and sandals. The first time I tried on a pair of her sandals, I was hooked. I couldn't get over how different and great they felt. Since then, a woman's footwear is the first thing I notice about her. If she's wearing heels, my heart skips a beat with excitement, and I find it near impossible to take my eyes off of her. Today, I own a few pairs, and continue slowly adding to my collection. I generally prefer dressy sandals with a touch of "sexy" on a 4" or 5" spike heel - always black. I'm also very finicky about what I do buy, so I don't see myself ever becoming the next Amelda Marcos(sp?).
