sscotty727 Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Anita, Where you in MD near DC tonight? A car passed me on the highway with the license plate 'NAMASTE'. I immediately thought of you! Scotty
sscotty727 Posted September 5, 2004 Author Posted September 5, 2004 BTW, I was wearing my 4" tan boots (same design as my aviator, just tan instead of black) at the time. Took my sis-in-law car shopping and then the mall/chucky cheese after while wearing them.
Anita C. Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Tonight is Saturday and I'm in San Diego having JUST filed my flight plans at the Pilots Center. MY personalized plates say TITL8 . . . and are not from either place. Sorry! NAMASTE', Anita C. "Spike Heels . . a Pork-pie hat . . Have on the mend in no time flat . . sscotty727 Posted September 5, 2004 Author Posted September 5, 2004 I kinda figured it wasn't you, but still made me think of you

Bubba136 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Anita, what destination? (I sure hope it wasn't Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach) (One of the reasons I quit flying is that I heard all pilots die ) ) Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
genebujold Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Anita, what destination? (I sure hope it wasn't Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach) (One of the reasons I quit flying is that I heard all pilots die ) ) Eventually... On a more serious note, the C-130 has had its share of accidents. A good friend of mine from New Orleans died in a C-130 accident in North Carolina in the early 90s.
JeffM Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 And I always thought it was divers that died. There are good divers and old divers but no good old divers, but maybe your right Bubba, there are no good old pilots either. To Anita Having a twin engine licence I would have thought you could twiddle any knob you choose with either hand, so whats this about, its difficult to tune the radio and heater control with your left hand. Jeff
genebujold Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Hmmm... I'm a diver, too! Perhaps I should rethink my hobbies... Then again, I haven't dove since 1994, so I don't think I'm exactly tempting fate, there...
