RubberVicki Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Do you think I could get away with my contast seamed stocking tommorrow to work?
terayon Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 your a woman...when it comes to fashion you can pretty much get away with whatever the hell you want too
Francis Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 why not? coordinate them with the rest of your outfit and you should prove that anything can be worn and still look good
jo-jo Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 See Debbies web page on how to wear the look and look very classy doing it jo-jo xx Don't ask me how I walk in them just try a pair

RubberVicki Posted April 3, 2002 Author Posted April 3, 2002 Has any one seen the new design on lacy tights/stockings, seem to remember lacy hosiery was popular in the 80s.
Debbie(HK) Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I often wear my seamed stockings to work, I think that look elegant with a business suit. Debbie This is a platform free shoe zone!
IHeels Posted April 5, 2002 Posted April 5, 2002 Agree with you Debbie, they do look elegant with a business suit. Inga _________________ HEELS are POWER the HIGHER the BETTER. [ This Message was edited by: IHeels on 2002-04-05 07:55 ] HEELS are POWER the HIGHER the BETTER.
Debbie(HK) Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 How did it go Vicki? Do tell...... Debbie This is a platform free shoe zone!
RubberVicki Posted April 16, 2002 Author Posted April 16, 2002 Went great, felt classy and sexy all day and lasted right into the evening in my 5.5in heels. Everyone asked wear I got my seams and I think I have started a craze for them at work as two other girls have worn them since
RubberVicki Posted July 4, 2002 Author Posted July 4, 2002 Anyone else worn seams to work or out recently? Vicki XX
RubberVicki Posted September 21, 2003 Author Posted September 21, 2003 Come girls, when was the last time your wore a pair of seamed stockings and did you enjoy all the attention? X
Bubba136 Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 it's a shame that Debbie isn't around to comment on this thread. She wears nothing but seamed nylons. And, as she has related on more than one occasion, she is partial to nylons circa 1950 which she finds on eBay. Debbie, your presence amongst us is sorely missed. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Laurieheels Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 I know I have said it before, somewhere, but it is easier to repost than go find it. I am not one for seamed nylons, and do not wear them. The reason being, I like the smooth, uninterrupted look rather than the seamed look.
Julietta Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 I've worn mine to work and I loved it. They make me feel very feminine and sexy Let calm be widespread May the sea glisten like greenstone And the shimmer of summer Dance across your pathway "Communication is a two way thing"
Yamyam Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 I've worn mine to work and I loved it. They make me feel very feminine and sexy It's just as well I didn't know that at the time - I wouldn't have gone to work myself Obsessed is such a strong word. I prefer to think of myself as "differently enthusiastic"
RubberVicki Posted September 27, 2003 Author Posted September 27, 2003 Great Julietta, did you go for traditional black or tanned or contrasts?
Carolyn Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Nooooo. Not for me. I can never get the seams straight and I don't care for the look. It's ordinary stockings with rubber elastic tops for me. And if you are lucky they might have frills on them ~Caz
Anita C. Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 I, on occassion, wear off-blach hose with seams to the workplace which has included the courtroom. In a sea of sensible shoes and suits seamed stockings and stilettos provide a nice "break in the action" option. They add some pizzaz and I like the feel of the seam upon my leg & heel.
