Rockpup
I can see why the Femm's are more dificult then the ballet boots to stand in, your foot's tilted back quite a bit. Definatly look like interesting shoes though, might be good for stretching your ankles so walking in bb's are easier Jim (formerly known as "JimC")
balletboot2000
Jim, normal ballets are a piece of cake as your foot is vertical. As you pointed out, your ankle is "over the top" in these, so yes, they make good ankle stretchers I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
GrayLion
I agree, they are actually quite masculine looking, weirdly enough.
balletboot2000
Hi guys, I'm not so sure about masculine, but they do have a nicely rounded toe. I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
balletboot2000
Hi Ruud, back to some of your points, as they have a rubber sole, yes they are pretty quiet. The only problem is that the surface has got to be level. Walking is slow and deliberate. Can I make steps? Well I got 250 metres from the car before I took this, and I made it back in one piece. They are size 9's, and Donna was amazed - I just got up and walked. Give me a call! I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
balletboot2000
Ruud, I think I need some longer jeans. I love the feel of that ultimate lift!

GrayLion
you know, I am seriously debating getting myself a pair. how do they fit, because I would have to mailorder them? I am a EU 45 - UK 10.5 What do you recommend. 10 or 11? cheers Bernhard
balletboot2000
Ruud, Yes, what I need is practice. Donna had to order them as I wanted the ankle boots. I tried a certain pair of thigh boots for size ! Check your mail inbox! BB I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
balletboot2000
Graylion, go for the 11, and get a set of toe pads from Blicke-Schuhe to put in the bottom. I wear them with a pair of socks, but the laces will hold your foot in the back, leaving no weight on your toes. I love the feel of that ultimate lift! GrayLion
thanks! now if only they would make Oxfords! BTW, anybody planning on ordering from my shop soonish? The sale will last until 15th Jan.
balletboot2000
Graylion, check the alternative footwear website. They might just be a lace up shoe. They might be trickier as there will be less ankle support. I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
Rockpup
I guess I made an impression at Fetish Factory several months ago when I stood up and walked a little in my size 9 devious ankle boots.. the sales guy was quick to point out that they now have knee high boots in stock... just my luck they have my (and his) size... *Grin* Currently wearing my new knee high boots, and they seem to provide even more stability for walking then the ankle boots.. Nice! Also, dropped off my TLSB ballet boots at a shoe repair shop they recomended.. a very nice older gentlemen who owns the shop was not surprised to see the boots, but seemed amazed that they were -mine-, and that I'd actually walked in them enough to wear out the heel tips. hehehe Oh well, hope your hollidays are happy Jim (formerly known as "JimC")
balletboot2000
Hi Jim, I found that the knee boots were far more supportive, with mine though they are just a pain to lace up, but you do feel secure. Any pics of your new boots ? BB I love the feel of that ultimate lift!
