serious bruising on foot

I think i may of posted this in the wrong section.

never before have i had bruising to my feet while walking in heels.  at the worst i have only suffered from blisters.  if you take a look at the photos you will most likely wonder how the hell i can stand with such extensive bruising let alone walk.  whats even more amazing is that i aint even got a limp.

what i would like to know is why did the bruising appear and what caused it

If I were to hazard a guess, from your description during the latter stages of the walk you said the heel started wobbling back and forth like it had gotten loose. It is possible that during the rocking the inside of the shoes were creating excessive pressure on the capillaries in your foot and ankle and several burst with the resultant bruising appearing. If it does not start to show signs of the swelling going down in a couple of days O would recommend a trip to the doctor to check your foot out in case some damage occurred that might be very detrimental to your health.

I was looking at the pictures - - and I'm thinking a doctors visit may be in order. That's some serious bruising.

Bruising has gone and i didnt need the doctors help.  im ready to walk another challenge which is in november.
