meganiwish Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I've been flitting round the members' map, playing hide and seek. Shafted found me. Does anyone fancy a game of sardines? Find where I am and just pile in there. It'll be cosy.
Guest Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Well one week you were near Hastings then in the South Atlantic I reckon you have a cape with a big S on it? Al
FreshinHeels Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Moving around you are Ile aux Cochons with has a nick name pig Island. Sounds like a nice and peacufull place. Edited August 10, 2012 by FreshinHeels In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
meganiwish Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 There's nobody here but us piggies. You found me. The idea with sardines is for one to hide and each finder gets in with them till there are loads squashed into a small space giggling and getting easier and easier to find because of the noise they're making. In our case it would be when some out of the way place starts getting lots of people. Now you've found me I'll move on.
meganiwish Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) One chap's found me and joined me. Anyone else want to come? Edited August 15, 2012 by meganiwish
meganiwish Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) With Amanda away, what other women have you got? And only one of you so far wants to come and snuggle up with me. Are you men or mice? Or perhaps you're just rubbish at finding.. Edited August 16, 2012 by meganiwish
Tom-NL Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 With Amanda away, what other women have you got? And only one of you so far wants to come and snuggle up with me. Are you men or mice? Or perhaps you're just rubbish at finding.. You remind me of an old DOS game: Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? No need to feel like you are standing in the shadow of Miss Amanda: your contributions are appreciated just as much. And there could be one other possible reason: maybe we have cold feet?
meganiwish Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 You might get cold feet where I am. Hello Foxyheels.
meganiwish Posted August 20, 2012 Author Posted August 20, 2012 Well two people came and found me. Thank you, chaps. But I'm bored of Baffin Island now, so I'm moving on. I need a coffee anyway.
FreshinHeels Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hope you brought some water with ye seems there is no freshwater on that Island. Plenty on rain though In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
meganiwish Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 We don't need water, we'll just have an espresso. Why don't you join us?
FreshinHeels Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Sure I'll bing the beer In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
manluvheels Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Is it Fairtrade Coffee?? "A man cannot make a pair of shoes rightly unless he do it in a devout manner" - Thomas Carlyle
meganiwish Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Is it Fairtrade Coffee?? Without giving it away, you know them for what they are. What do you expect? Anyway, hello Manluvheels and Freshinheels.. Tom-NL and I might have been getting up to no good without chaperones. Still, lots of you other chaps and chapesses should come and join us here. When there are ten I'll move on. Or should it be twenty? Depends on you.
Tom-NL Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Anyway, hello Manluvheels and Freshinheels.. Tom-NL and I might have been getting up to no good without chaperones. Ahem! Are you implying that I have exhibited inappropriate behaviour??
meganiwish Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Oh no, you've been a perfect gentleman. It's me that can't be trusted with a lovely young man and no chaperone
meganiwish Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Before long every island will be Starbuck, so I've gone to give some business to a competitor. I've not gone far, but I may be harder to find as I'm hidden behind someone else Hi, Tom-NL, you found me really quickly, you're good at this I think we've hidden well, Tom-NL. They'll never find us, hehe
Tom-NL Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 I think we've hidden well, Tom-NL. They'll never find us, hehe Hrm, maybe I better invite a chaperone after all?
FreshinHeels Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Can't come with ye's, have to go home, me very homesick In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
meganiwish Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 Hello manluvheels and Alsheels. This is more like it. It's a shame Freshinheels's mum called him home for tea. The game is so much more fun with lots of people.
meganiwish Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 Are there really only three people here with a sense of fun? Come on, chaps, come and find us. I'm the only girl so far so you'll get a kiss and a hug from me. That must make it worthwhile.
Guest Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 A real life meeting could force this issue ? But then at a meet it would be etiquette, don't you think? Al
meganiwish Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 You and your silver tongue I bet you say that to all the girls
Guest Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Only the ones I "think" I can get away with it. Are you on some silly nightshift or living in the batcave? Al
meganiwish Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Gosh, I must come across as pretty easy lol. No, I work freelance and often find night time the best. It's very still with little distraction. I also bake bread once a week for a market, and that's an overnight job. I live alone so it doesn't disturb anyone and I get more daylight time to myself. For instance, today I've hung my laundry out and now I'm going to spend the afternoon by the sea. The Pacific, obviously Megan
Guest Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) Easy? naw it's just a frame of mind. Fresh baked bread now that is enticing! This is my time I'm active in the Morning and start slowing in the afternoon especially with this good weather back at home When you are on the Beach take care not to fall off the Head land.
